1. Must have flawless emblem
2. Must have Scarab Heart Emblem
3. Must be this X amount of K/D+
4. Must be this X amount of ELO+
5. Must have X amount of wrecking ball, phantom,... medal (the most ridiculous one i have seen)
6. No kid, No girl
7. Must be 315+ (this one is hilarious, i guess i couldn't join your team then)
The only thing I ask for on LFG is:
-Looking for 2 guardians who HAVE NEVER BEEN FLAWLESS to hopefully help out.
Do you guys have anything to add to this list of madness?
I understand people wants to play with people within their skill range but this is really getting out of hand.
I am pretty sure all of these requirements are pushing players away from Trials. Everyone seem to think that Trials is this MLG place where only the bests can stand a chance. The people that I helped out with seems really stressed out and sorta afraid of the enemy while they're playing. I usually have to tell them to loosen up a little and their reaction when we finally make it is what keeps me going every weekend.

Bump!

This game needs more people like you. There's so many sweaty try-hard bastards out there ruining the game for the new and less experienced players. The game doesn't welcome new players, instead it makes a mockery of them for not having grinded their asses. Just one of the many reasons this game is so dead. Yet here I am, you say? I want this game to succeed but it's gotten worse and worse since launch.
-
Been flawless many times all in y1 (on warlock to bad I deleted him to make her) but I decent
-
I appreciate what you're doing for the community here, but I will say I don't see that heavy of requirements out there. I mean if a sweaty person wants to play with equally sweaty people why is that a problem. I see wide variety of groups out there ranging from casual doing bounties to 2+KD 2000+ Elo only. There are teams for everybody.

Carry me?
-
Honestly I don't have requirements anymore, because I'm very honest about my (lack of) skill. When I do ask to be carried it's harder to find any assistance, but I don't whine about it either. I'm okay with just completing bounties and having fun

I have friends who play on xboxone with me - they're good player's too - but I hold them back I'm OK, but not good enough tbh I now have a ps4 account and I'm ranking my first character up as we speak (297 light) I don't expect to go to the lighthouse on either account Here is why I feel destiny is such that if you start early and push at the front, u get the weapons, the light, the experience etc Standards for raids and pvp are then sorta set Must have TOM, gally, bs, kd etc Thing is - until u rank up and get these things your left behind Yes eventually you'll get there, but playing the game from day one of any new event does give you an advantage I'm 3x 320 on xboxone - get in raids with ease Try getting in raids at 287/290 light Everyone thinks your a noob and no one wants to know - despite me being experienced and highly skilled in the raid (doesn't come through on lfg!) So I've given up on going to the lighthouse, it ain't never gonna happen lol

Must have dropped over 100 nukes in CoD.
-
If you ask for someone to play with and set a very specific standard for what you want, it is generally considered poor form to not meet the standard you ask for. I would never set a standard for a person that i myself couldn't meet. This is a lesson people in these forums need to meet. Do you have any idea how many post I've seen asking for 1.8 or 2.3 k/d players coming from players with a .4 or .5 k/d. Whats even worse is when they say "we will check" like your my teacher or something. It just annoys me frankly.
-
I love when these requirements are made by players with .6 k/ds You won't get carried when you demand help. The ones that post being honest asking for carries are the ones who receive assistance. I swear kids think they are entitled to getting carried. We can see your stats you are not fooling anyone its pathetic.
-
Never been lighthouse and good players generally don't want to play with me due to my stats, although the one time I got to play with decent players and they were really supportive.
-
Yeah some requirements are ridiculous same for the raid, it's like having a job interview lol
-
I don't mind people asking for those requirements if they match the stats themselves. It's the people asking for 2.0+ k/d and over 2000 elo but only have a 0.8 and like 1200 elo... That's where it gets ridiculous
-
For real They ask for all of this crap then they suck at trials
-
Thank god there are peeps like you out there. I'd like to go flawless but it's pretty hard nowadays. Nobody wants to play with me and my 1100 elo and .9 kdr. Im fairness I did mess around too much in my early destiny pvp days.
-
Yeah I couldn't join either since I'm 314 in trials gear, lol.. Yeah the requirements are dumb for the most part, I understand it though. You play with who you want to play with. Then there are people like me who play with whoever.
-
Big bump from me I enjoy pvp and usually push a little to hard but it's good to know that there are players like yourself out there still trying to help players like us out there ! THANK YOU!!!
