When maximizing a specific stat in Gear Manager, it should just maximize for tier 5 and not go beyond that. Right now, if I maximize my intellect, it goes to nearly 500. It should take current loadout into consideration and only move things enough to get to tier 5 for the desired stat.
When maximizing for a certain stat, gear manager should also look at the nodes on armor, ghosts and artifacts that are available and choose the right one accordingly. So, for example, if you have a ghost that has a node for Intellect and one for discipline and currently discipline is selected, but you are maximizing for intellect, it should choose intellect if the intellect on that ghost is the highest intellect.
Another issue I have with Gear Manager is when the view is set to everything else and I choose to maximize light, it doesn't take the gear in the vault into consideration, only my 3 characters.
EDIT: This post is about feedback for Gear Manager (note the tags and where I say "in Gear Manager"). Please read with that in mind before replying.

I really think you need to edit, format, and correct your post because it's really hard to read, and you don't seem to know what you're talking about. By using the right gear, whether it's from a random drop or you buying it, you can easily get two stats to 300+, regardless of the combination. If you want higher light, you need to infuse those pieces; it's really quite simple. You seem to want to maximize light, while also maximizing stats with whatever high level gear that dropped for you. That's not how the game works, nor should it ever be. If you want maxed stats, you need to invest the time that other players WITH maxed light/attributes invested. Tl;dr - What you're suggesting is already available. You simply can't just get some high light Intellect/Strength boots and think they're going to contribute to your discipline build.
