Who cares if every has a hidden hand 1ks. Last year they brought it in for the summer and held us over till the TTK dlc. They should bring it back this summer.
Everyone having God rolls = balanced PvP
The only downside is that it takes away the carrot. No need to grind as much. GG bungie
-
Bungie wants us to grind, and everyone being able to get god rolls with enough re-rolls might actually reduce weapon diversity in the crucible even more.
-
It makes any gun over powered And its more exiting getting a god roll without having to reroll
-
Every1 will have the same op weapon
-
Initially, reroll on all weapons sounds like a good idea, but I think it had an overall negative impact on the game. Legendary drops weren't exciting in the least, because you only wanted a certain archetype. If it didn't fit, it went straight in the bin.

Edited by Ken Rocker: 3/23/2016 1:43:03 PMWhat they could do is have a certain item drop (etheric Aether?) that can be infused into one weapon. Once infused into a weapon it is bound, then and only then can the weapon be rerolled. Make the Aether somewhat difficult to come by - level 60 PoE or something. Small chance from the chest at the end, etc. Optional: Make this item have a short lifespan - like a 30 minute buff or fixed number of rerolls (20?).
-
They should but it should be more limited. More expensive, and you can only re-roll a certain gun 3 times a week or so.
-
I care
-
It ruins God rolls. You should care when you get a 2nd of the same weapon. Less diversity in pvp
-
It would be a great idea. The loot system has turned to shit with the release of TTK and grinding for hours daily just to be disappointed is a thing of the past for most.
-
It will take away the whole farm and grind aspect of the game. This game exists like others due to the grind.
-
Because instead of playing the game and farming gear, you're camping at the Gunsmith re-rolling for hours. I'd rather be playing the game and appreciate good drops when they happen. The other thing is that it leaves so much of the intricacy of various weapon rolls undiscovered because everyone is copying one another rather than taking a chance on different combinations.
-
Yeah....I'm getting pretty tired of the grind and only finding weapons with shit perks.
-
Shot package shotguns and Final Round snipers are gone so I welcome reforging. I'm tired of dismantling guns because bungie believes that exhumed is a good perk. I want perks that work with my playstyle not going through 15 Treads Upon Stars until I finally get a perk roll enjoy. A few things, they need to increase the materials needed to re roll and have a limit to how many times you can do it perk week.
-
Everyone having the same rolls=boring
-
A limited amount of rolls per week per account might be a nice idea! ~TheGreatNike
-
It would be good if took more than just material it was too easy to reroll weapon with perfect roll
-
It would be a great thing. I don't give a damn about a "special" or "unique" weapon. I don't freak out when I get a great roll. I didn't even react when I got my 1st Gjallarhorn. And I was glad when Xur sold it. What I want is the most effective tool to do the job. Reforging allows me to get this. Who cares if everyone has the same thing or not? Not this guy. RNG can suck a fat dick.
-
Because it takes away from the fun of this game. It makes me feel accomplished when I grind a strike to get a certain weapon with a specific role but if I could just get a weapon once and reforge it into whatever I want where's the fun in that?
-
Because 90% of this game is hoping you get a roll that makes that gun you love usable.
-
It still exists for y1 PoE weapons. Have fun!
-
No one appreciates weapons anymore. Have you seen the reactions of people getting perfect imago loop drops etc. Amazing, but with rerolling it's meh. And now that they sell weapon parts you can basically infinitely reroll.
-
In HoW I was always grinding parts & motes to get the perfect roll. But you are right, rerolling meant everyone had the chance for a decent roll.
-
Ummm, diversity? Ever heard of it?
-
Edited by JasperGTR: 3/23/2016 2:29:54 AMThe issue I see is that in the infinite universe Bungie created, they've limited most of THEIR perk system to only a few "god" rolls. If these are that good, then why even have perks? Why not varying specs and architypes, but exclude perks altogether. That would bring about AMAZING balance (as mentioned). Or they could exercise their brain cells and come up with better perks worth using so we'd stop hating the useless rewards in the first place. I present exhibit A: Rocket launcher with shank burn.
-
I remember those days. I only got killed by a whole 6 weapons. Thorn/TLW, Felwinters/party crasher/espear and ash factory. Totally balanced, cause everyone had the exact same rolls on the exact same guns, and if you didnt use those you got stomped on.
-
Make it like Diablo 3 and it will be perfect.
