So, this is just my prediction of the upcoming Strike, enjoy. [b][u]Blighted Chalice:[/u] Taken Strike[/b] [u]Location[/u]: The Summoning Pits, Ocean of Storms, Moon. [u]Description[/u] [spoiler]"Something still stirs in the Hellmouth, I can feel it. Phogoth, the Untamed was a Hive abomination bred for unthinkable evil. Now, something else exists. From what I can sense, it isn't quite alive or dead. Eris thinks it must be Taken. We can only find out."- Ikora Rey[/spoiler] [b]Part 1: The Depths[/b] [spoiler]Players spawn in the Summoning Pits, and must exit the area to continue. They immediately notice Phogoth's dead body on the ground, and pools of green blood trailing away from his body. Ghost: "What is this?" Ikora: "Phogoth's tumor achieved a mind of its own. It managed to crawl away. That must be what we're looking for." Players follow the trail of blood out of the Pits, and are ambushed by Taken, lead by an evil Guardian named "Shadow Titan." The Shadow Titan is wearing Titan armor, but is covered in Taken energy. Ghost: "What the hell?! Taken Guardians!" Ikora: "This must be the creature's doing! Find, and stop it from creating more!" Players advance into a cave entrance.[/spoiler] [b]Part 2: The Caves[/b] [spoiler]Players move through an intricate cave system, occasionally getting jumpscared by Thralls wandering through it as well. The cave system eventually comes to an end, but is blocked by a door. To open it, players must find 3 tomb husks, and bring them to the door. Once they do, the door will open, revealing a portal. Players step inside.[/spoiler] [b]Part 3/[u]boss fight:[/u] Malok, Blighted Chalice[/b] [spoiler]The portal brings players to a room called "Nest of the Chalice." It is shaped like a crater. There are eggs laid everywhere on the floor and walls. In the center of the crater sits a giant blob of skin and muscle, twitching and oozing. Ikora: "Hideous creature... Destroy it." After that, the blob mutates into a humanoid thing, red in color. It's name is "Malok, Blighted Chalice." Malok actually uses Guardian-like attacks. For distance opponents, he uses a Warlock's Stormtrance ability, as well as a Nova Bomb from time to time. For up close, he uses Fist of Havoc. While Hive and Taken reinforcements will spawn, Malok will also spawn more Shadow Guardians from the eggs on the ground. Eventually, he is killed. Ikora: "May that creature at last find peace. Without it, the Hive lose another leader, and a valuable asset. Good work." Strike over.[/spoiler] [b]Strike Loot[/b] [spoiler]Grasp of Malok: Legendary Pulse Rifle (Kinetic) "Dutiful Malok: Many offerings of Light did he make at the Shrines of Oryx."- Eris Morn Hood of Malok: Legendary Titan Helmet "It's like they say: Pride goeth before the fall." Malok's Reins: Legendary Warlock Gauntlets "You could say Malok was prideful: But tumors can't feel emotion, can they?" Pride of Malok: Legendary Hunter Cloak "It is said that Malok's pride was absorbed into the Hunter who felled him. That sense of pride was carefully etched into this cloak."[/spoiler] [b]Grimoire[/b] 1: Shadow Guardians [spoiler]"Rogue Guardians. Those who partook of the Light, then stabbed it in the back. The possibility of Shadow Guardians existing has always been at the back of our minds. But we never thought it possible until the tumor Malok came to power in the Hellmouth. We're not sure on the whole process, but Malok was able to somehow Take Guardians. He molded them, crafted them into his own images. He bludgeoned them so much they seemed to forget who they were. My condolences go out to any Guardians who fell by his hand."-Ikora Rey[/spoiler] 2: Malok: Blighted Chalice [spoiler]You are Malok, tumor of Phogoth, bloody and ruined. You sook revenge against the Undead for the destruction of your host body. You have been taken. Revenge for Phogoth is understandable, but riddle me this: Why, O cancerous Malok, did you manipulate my Taken into believing you should take my place? You were born a weak spot to a higher being, now you seek to become the next King of Taking. There is a knife for you. It is shaped like [traitors.] Take up the knife.
