I'm really hoping for a lot out of the spring update but I'm pretty much done which is a surprise because I just started playing this winter. There are multiple issues here. Like I haven't even been able to get together a raid team, when I'm available to play I either can't get anyone to play the apparently worthless year one raids or I don't qualify for King's Fall because I haven't run it a hundred times over and don't have the gear that is apparently "required" for what everyone considers a successful run. I'm a casual player, I pick up and play when I can, the idea that Bungie expects me to use a third party app/site to find a fireteam and set it up ahead of time like it's date night is outright frustrating. It's obviously something needed in game, why is it such a hassle? Trying to communicate in game is almost impossible, I feel like I'm playing a friggin game where the world is populated by deaf mutes, we occasionally run into each other and silently run a mission together but the majority of the game is just wandering around alone. My gear... Dear God. I don't expect level 320 exotics to be raining down everytime I wander into the Cosmodrome but for the love of God could I get gear closer to my light level so that I can maybe use it for infusion if nothing else? Rolling gear with light levels in the 260's almost every single time is just ridiculous. I can't do anything with it! Just give me gear relative to my light level! I know I'm just going to get trolled or burned for the complaining but I really enjoyed Destiny right up until it turned into the same strikes, patrols, and bounties again and again with nothing to show for it and I'm seriously hoping someone can give me a reason to not drop this game like a bad habit.
