Since everyone on here complains about any mmo-like game having a grind, please tell me what mmo-like games don't have a grind.

I don't mind grind, when every time you play, you get closer to your goal, by accumulating currency, or levelling up towards what you want. But Destiny grind isn't actually grind at all, it is completing chores for the chance of gaining the gear you are after. You complete a raid or nightfall for the roll of a dice. Meaning you can win the Raid, but lose on the RNG. Or kill Crota, and get another pair of feckin boots, when you just need the helmet to finish the armour set. The reason why this isn't grind, is because you are up against fixed odds, which means you are no more likely to get what you need on your 110th attempt as you were on your 10th. (see Gamblers Fallacy)

That's exactly why their isn't more MMOs on console

I try to tell this to absolutely everyone. What kids expect from an MMO/rpg I have no idea.

Edited by wojo55: 3/20/2016 9:53:28 PMIdk it's the main reason I don't play them. I used play runescape when I was a teen but that's as far it goes for me also a decade ago
