Honestly, I never heard of Destiny until I saw it at Costco 2 weeks after launch. I gave it a shot and never stopped playing it. For Division, I was hearing serious hype from many of my PS friends and I tried it. I am at level 17 and am seriously bored of it. So there was some serious hype for Division and no hype for Destiny and, personally, Destiny ended up being the better game for me.

Destiny was record breaking Hype from what I recall, enough to earn the #1 spot on most disappointing game of the year lists across the board
