Actually, there are lots of different types in the community. Some just make art, some costume familiar anthro characters, some do costumes of their own characters, and some just appreciate the art and community as a whole.

I'm 15... I'm not old enough to go to cons alone, and I should wait until I've stopped growing to get a fursuit... But that doesn't mean I'm not a furry. Also, not all furries are attracted to animals.
