Personally, I'm tired of them.
Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike superhero movies. I just think having three come out every year from the same goddamn studio is overkill. They're putting so much out there and doing so little to distinguish one film from the next that I can't bring myself to care anymore.
A friend sent me the new trailer for Civil War, and while I thought it looked cool, I have no desire to see the actual movie. It just looks like more of the same old shit. Why should I care? Five years ago, I would have shit my pants if I saw a trailer like that. Now, I just shrug and move on. It does nothing for me.
I haven't seen any of the TV shows, but I have heard good things. Daredevil sounds pretty interesting, but I don't care enough to actually check it out. Maybe it'll be a good binge watch 5 years from now.
I don't know. What do y'all think?

I love marvel films, but I've always hated the shows. I dunno, I just never got into them.
-
I'm getting there. The apocolypse I will get tired after... But infinity war. That's probably the last one I'll see. DC I will pass I like their individuals but bvs nah
-
Not really. I don't watch half of them, but I don't mind them.

Edited by awesome1401: 3/20/2016 10:53:01 PMNow what was the last marvel movie...??? Oh that's right, DEADPOOL!!!! Quite possibly the best ever marvel movie so far and in the foreseeable future! Even my wife thinks it's the best movie ever made! Bring on more marvel!
-
A little bit, but I just watched man of steel earlier today and I have to say it made Ant Man look like Citizen Kane
-
If you're tired, then don't see them Simple
-
Sick of the fanboys but not the films.
-
Not burned out yet. Aside from the Hulk movie I don't think Marvel have released a truly bad movie yet, and because I don't necessarily watch each movie as soon as it releases I don't feel the fatigue as much. And really, where else am I supposed to get my superhero fix? From DC?
-
Yeah it's gotten boring. I don't even watch Marvel Films anymore, all the same shit
-
Nope. Just watched Winter Soldier yesterday and it's my favourite one so far

It's just fighting and corny jokes
-
I agree. I still prefer marvel comics, but I like dc films more now.
-
I understand that you may think of them as boring or getting old, but think of this: these films are in their own series: The 'regular' marvel characters (capt America, hulk, iron man etc) are confirmed to be connected with the guardian's of the galaxy characters (star lord, rocket, etc) We know this because (if you haven't seen the movies don't click spoiler):
there are these things called infinity orbs that were shown in the movie guardian's of the Galaxy, in that particular movie we saw they were going after the purple orb (don't remember it's name) Along with these infinity orbs there was a scene where groot saw the tesseract, which was confirmed to be an infinity stone, and that is also apart of the avengers. Now, it's not confirmed (but everyone can make the assumption) that somehow all of these stones are going to be brought together. This means more marvel characters will be involved that aren't already, and some marvel characters might also get their back stories in film (hawkeye, star lord, black widow, etc) .
I can assume this series of films will go on for another 10 years or so, with the last of the series being (possibly) 2 part movies finishing it off with all the infinity stones brought together

Don't listen to him, he's a car.
spoonlift
Wait. Aren't you that one foot guy.
-
I really enjoy their Netflix shows but with the movies I would see on a slow day but wouldn't make an effort to watch them.
-
Nope because movies these days are trash.
-
I know what you mean. I loved them when I was a kid and would count down the days like a fanboy and now it's just ridiculous. Deadpool was the only one in the last 3 years that I made an effort to see, I must say suicide squad does look good though
-
Not yet, but at the rate they're churning them out I know I'll tire of them sooner rather than later.
-
I think you are clinically insane.
-
It's simple, you're not a superhero/comic fan so you obv dont care. The rest of us are loving all of this.
-
Yeah, petty much.
-
Yeah. The superhero trend shit is getting kinda old. Do we still have to pretend we like it?
-
14% need to rethink their lives.
-
I love them :D
