I mean I agree with a lot of what you say but there is only so much that's going to change in such a short amount of time. As a bisexual man I'm really happy that the lgbtq community has got as far as it has, and I know there's going to be more and more changes soon enough that will make things better for the community. The younger generations that are growing up now are seeing more and more that hate and persecution are pointless and hurtful, and they are much more accepting. The only thing you said that I believe you should have left out is the part about AIDS. That and that alone comes down to personal responsibility. Yes there isn't really school taught sex education that pertains to members of the LGBT community but they still teach to use jimmies if you're going to be having sex. If that isn't listened to it has nothing to do with sex ed that's just people being irresponsible with their genitals. And beyond that children growing up these days should feel comfortable talking to their parents about sex stuff if they aren't getting the proper education elsewhere. I really hope everything you have said gets through to even one person in this community and helps change their mindset on these issues. I know you get a lot of shit on here but it seems like (at least on this issue) your heart is in the right place. Good luck to you ma'am!
