This is just an update. The dlc isn't until the fall. Bungie hasn't said if we are going to pay for it or not yet. With this having new content, then yes, I would say micros are paying for it, since it is considered part of the live team.

Okay, so my point still stands. The "update" isn't free, and it's being paid for by microtransactions.
