A little different. Update 2.0 was for ttk's release. Much of that update was to prep the dlc.
This one doesn't have a dlc. So it's more like the other big weapon updates but with some added pve stuff.

Regardless I'm excited for some new stuff. Since it's a free content update I think they are going to slowly release details. I think we could be getting more than what they've said so far I can't see us reaching for the new light cap through strikes.
