Can we just stop buying into (no pun intended) the "Free DLC" garbage that gaming companies keep feeding us? Nothing is free unless there's a charity out there, raising money for video game DLC's. Destiny's is being paid for by microtransactions and Division's is being paid for by the original games' sales (i.e. - it is truly cut content).

By that logic, my Mario kart DLC was cut content
-
Sure, I guess. I'm not 6, so I really don't know anything about Mario Kart.

Edited by TheOxymoron431: 3/18/2016 2:55:46 PMNow that's one strike, two strike, and well I don't have a 3rd, but you're clearly not worth talking to.......lets just say you're a little dumb and leave it at that
-
You're doing me a favor.
-
No, I'm doing myself a favor, your way of thinking is hopeless
-
Go vote for Bernie.
-
Sure, why not. If you don't like him he can't be all bad
-
Not all of us can be Mario Kart playing cool guys like you.
-
Never said I was cool
-
Really, because you sound like you'd be the life of the party. ..as long as everyone brought their own Wii controller.
-
I'm not sure I see how you're trying to insult me. I've watched people play 8 man smash bros at college and it's pretty entertaining

Micros aren't paying for dlc. Micros are for the live team. Bungie said this way back when micros first came out. Kotaku were the people that said the micros were for dlc, and they were wrong.
-
Okay, then what's paying for them? Nobody's working for free is my point. We are paying for it one way or another.
-
Edited by SmashvilleViking: 3/18/2016 2:54:34 PMThis is just an update. The dlc isn't until the fall. Bungie hasn't said if we are going to pay for it or not yet. With this having new content, then yes, I would say micros are paying for it, since it is considered part of the live team.
-
Okay, so my point still stands. The "update" isn't free, and it's being paid for by microtransactions.
-
Yes. I thought you meant the dlc in the fall. I think I misread your original reply
