I've spent more time playing Destiny than any other game in my life. Really enjoy it, although right now there is nothing enticing to do except to Raid in hopes of getting that last 320 class item I need to get my 3rd and final character to 320. Of course this will all be for nothing once we get the new level cap in less than 4 weeks. Very happy about new content, but not so happy if it's the end game content that most of the players disliked, i.e. POE. That alone may minimize my playtime.
Why do I mention all of this?? Because right now I'm devoting all of my gaming time to The Division, which I am really enjoying for the most part. I like the grind of leveling up your character with new weapons, armor and skill--much the same way I did in Destiny. However, unlike Destiny, once you reach level 30 there is not much else to do except run the same type side missions and encounters over and over again to upgrade your Medical, Security or Tech wings. Yes, there is the Darkness zone but that is basically just a PvP grind for weapon/armor upgrades. I'm hoping that the upcoming Incursion will give us some true end game content that will give us the same enjoyment that we've gotten from the Destiny Raids. That being said, The Division is not a Destiny-killer. It is merely a new game that does many of the same things that Destiny has done. In time you will see similar Division complaints that we've seen with Destiny regarding content and doing the same activities over and over.

Edited by The Woolldozer: 3/18/2016 2:17:30 PMThe Dark Zone isn't really very much PvP, or at least not in my opinion. Most of the people that go rogue to so on accident. It's more of a place to just farm named bosses. After a certain point (around DZ level 30), the loot starts to become worthless. What everyone strives for now is the Phoenix credits to buy High-End gear.

Yep--pretty much.
