PETITION to END REVIVE Sniping in 3vs3 Game Modes?
Just curious :)....
What's the point of reviving and having overshield, when you can be revive sniped?
Isn't revive sniping a kind of cheating?

They tried to get rid of it once, by extending the shield duration. All it did was screw people who didn't res snipe. One solution is to push a revived teammate, but it's not perfect. Do you have a solution in mind?

I kind of agree. Wish a large number of things would be tried. Still have our current trials and 3v3 variants but it would be nice if the had a test game playlist where they try new fixes left and right. Someday find one that works very well and they implement it on all playlists? Idk just an idea

Nah, the person dies in the first place, revives aren't suppose to come easy, deal with the sniper or just push the revive. That's all, or don't die. Trust me I know the frustration, but i don't think they should do away with it.

I hardly ever snipe in PvP and I say keep res sniping in the game. You don't like getting res sniped? Try not getting killed in the first place, then you won't have to worry about it. The team down a player should in no way get an advantage for reviving a teammate that got killed. It's already painfully easy to revive downed players, they don't need anymore help.

Actually its better to not have a rez shield at all. Better to just revive with 1 hp.

1 ReplyI don't think it's the sniping that's the issue. I think it's how long your revive animation takes before you can move.

The fact you get rewarded for dying is ridiculous. Being killed of res should be easier.

If you died and you didn't tell your team that their looking at your orb, you deserve to get put down again. Also why does the person who died get a shield when they are revived? Why do they get a reward for dieing?

1 ReplyWell you shouldn't get rewarded with an over shield because your teammates die so you are just gonna have to push them or get rid of the over shield and shorten the animation
