I see your ignorant retort, and raise you one validated explanation:
Take a game like Halo 4. Campaign, matchmaking, forge, theater, and custom games.
Now look at its sequel - halo 5. Campaign, matchmaking, WARZONE, forge, theater, and custom games.
Aside from a new story to branch off of what they've already done, tweaks to the game code, reward system, and graphics, you are getting the same package with more details. Yes you are getting more content than any other dlc prior but that's because it's a whole new bloody game.
Destiny had a rocky start, pricey DLC, and a frustrating loot system.
I'm expecting Destiny 2 to have a more solid start, even pricier DLC, an equally if not less frustrating loot system, and custom games.
You're paying more money for the same stuff their feeding you now. The only difference is that they added in some flavoring, changed the spoon they're feeding you with, and told you all about how it's secretly a different product than the first jar.

I know where you're coming from. Trust me I do. But even without forge, custom games and the extensive game types. Destiny is a far bigger game and has way more content than all of the halos. This game is far from perfect but honestly bungie doesn't get the credit they deserve for this game. It's a huge game with so much different things to do. It may not have forge and custom games but it does have social space, different types of missions, strikes, raids and the first game to combine all of that with a competitive play style. I feel like bungie knows a lot of their fans are growing disappointed so they don't have a choice but to really raise the bar with the next game. Only time will tell

Oh my Jesus, you literally just compared a liter bottle of Gatorade to a six-pack of soda. I was trying to be nice, but at this point, I'm only going to be batting zero trying to reason with you.
