Lol. She's may just be a bad apple. Every fandom has plenty. There's a significant amount of horrible non-furries in the world, that I am sure of.

Yeah sadly there are plenty of them out there, but once you get past all of them, thats when you find us. The ones who I believe really represent the fandom, we don't brag about being furries to everyone we meet thats just a bad idea because you never know how people will react, its better to just let people figure it out on their own in my opinion
