These are some ideas I've been collecting from the community that could make Destiny not dry out before the 10 year contract runs out. Take notes.
PVP:
-Rez sniping
Rez sniping takes no skill accomplish and should be fixed. Making the play unable to move unless their teammate(s) push them or else they get sniped is unfair. To fix this just simply make them immune for 3 sec. after animation but it will deactivate if they shoot, melee, activate super, ext. Sunsinger fire born should not receive patch exept they should get a revive over shield while self-resurrection increase by about 15-20%.Doing this will bring more variety to sniping in Destiny since everyone has mainly been using high impact snipers.
-Special Ammo
Special ammo was recently taken away in 3v3/2v2 game modes but seems to have no affect since side arms spawn with ammo. Switching from sidearm to sniper for example is kind of breaking the system. Snipers receive 1 magazine when doing the and a additional of 2 bullets if they have a sniper ammo perk. Making is so you only get half the percentage of ammo received when doing the will make those non sniper ammo people receive only 2 bullets and the people with it gets 3.
-Trials Matchmaking
Trials matchmaking is still a little bad but idk know the full specs so if I say something that exists it's my bad. Matchmaking need to focus on ELO ranking for 1st priority, then connection, then trials card. Trials is fun and competitive and most of the streamers in your community help other guardians get Ultimate Victory in the trials. Matchmaking with connection and card exist but finding a trials team average ELO and matchmake off of that is needed.
DLC/Updates:
Making video games are hard to get creative and don't make much money without DLC but updates should happen monthly. Some games come out with monthly updates offering the game to be fresh. DLC should be bigger and not cost $20 or $50 making the community disappointed in having to spend so much money on a game they love but abandoned since too much income is put into. Making DLCs bigger, more frequent, and cheaper ($10-15) will attract the eye. Destiny 2 is supposed to happen this year or next year but if you don't fix the first game people wont buy the next unless they are devoted to your game like me.
Exclusives:
The only exclusives really ever appreciate by the ps4 community is Hawkmoon, Sublime engrams and blue exodus. The exclusive strikes are too difficult and take too long which causes people to go to orbit when the come across them in the playlists. Making them fun should be first priority.
This is all I have the say that could help make people stop calling Destiny "Deadstiny". If you take this into consider which I hope you do put it into the next few updates. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Why give benefit for being dead/bad? I think its fair if u die, who ever killed u has the benefit then

Playing enough pvp in Destiny I learned your not bad if you get simply outplayed, destiny is a run n' gun that relize on muscle reaction and who can land more head shots, grenades, ext. Sniping off of rez is unfair and takes little "SKILL" to do. If ask enough pvp players you will receive the answer of it being cowerd move. I rez snipe and this may make me a hypocrite but it needs to be fixed.

And it would be overpowered to have a immunity for long if u dont shoot, think if u and ur enemy both use shotgun, u are rezed, enemy cant shoot u cos of immunity but u can shoot him, it wouldnt be fair. Its fine how it is now, dont try to make it better cos all u do is make it worse with this

A comment on your rez snipe theory. If people were granted a shield for 3 seconds after a spawn, it would give them an unfair advantage. Even if it vanished when the player took a shot, it would allow them to have the advantage in a fight. I do however think that a player should be able to make a move before being sniped. Giving players the opportunity to move in any direction before being plucked. This should go for self rez as well

To survive a self rez snipe you need solor armor chest plate, ram and max armor and even with that you only have about 25 health whichh can easily be countered by spraying the body shot or switching to a primary if you keep your distance from the guardian. This makes it so you dont need that armor and stats and if you get headshoted as a self rez in animation you only lose your 75% of sheild which is helpful since they have super armor and will be out of animation right when the get shot. Maybe my percentage for self rez animation armor is wrong and should be increased if it is not correct. This should help the rez snipe theory be true.

I disagree on the self res. Warlocks need to play smart in that situation. However, on a guardian to guardian revive, res sniping is bull. 3 seconds is far too long, giving that player too much time to get to cover or ready a super. half a second to one second is plenty.

I agree with you, I don't think a self rez should be able to get killed right off animation. Even though I will snipe one as soon as they pop up. But I will tell you that it does take some skill to do. Not all players are able to spawn snipe
