[spoiler]https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1155624. california is trying to make actual raw hunks of metal illegal, metal used for making things in the aerospace industry and various others. they're also trying to ban small springs and such unless they get serialized.(think about how that'd even be possible?) this would basically be a defacto ban on all forms of metal-working factories/machine shops in the state.
