I was thinking about sidearms and how they have no exotics, so I came up with this idea.
The sidearm's main perk would be that it would incorporate all three elements, since I think sidearm's are best used to take down enemy shields in PvE. The second exotic perk would be that the sidearm would not expend ammo when you shoot at shields. The third perk of the gun would be probably rodeo to make recoil less drastic. The gun would have the basic stats of a sidearm, with a little less reload, a little higher recoil control, low range, and a mag of 15. These stat changes would balance the effects of the exotic perks. All in all, I feel this sidearm would put a new face on sidearms.
Edit: the perk where ammo is not expended on shields applies to guardian shields as well
Edit 2: sorry when I said that sidearms have no exotics I meant that sidearms have no YEAR TWO exotics

Why not a set of duel wielded pistols? 9 rounds In either clip, 18 total. It's exotic perk? 2 guns, it doesn't need one. 2guns = double fire rate The only downside is no aiming down sights. Other perks could be: Reactive reload. Increased hip fire accuracy Spray and play Other reload boosting perks.
