Edited by TotallyNotDrew: 3/13/2016 8:21:28 PMIt's pretty obvious why Marty wants to go the Kickstarter route, seeing as his last attempt at a standalone album, Music of the Spheres, was taken from him and has still yet to be released from Bungie. This way no matter what he has all the rights to his music, and no boss to report to. I support Marty 100%. Edit: For those saying Marty is being greedy, the total cost of this project, as told on the campaign page of the Kickstarter, is $64,000. Now, if you look at how much they're asking for, it's only $45,000. Highwire, and since most of the financing of Highwire comes from each developer, Marty, are paying for a considerable amount. The reason for Kickstarter is for the fans to have a say in influencing how this album will be.
