That would be turned off for customs but getting exotics shouldn't be only through crucible silly bungie

But I seem to have more luck with exotic drops in crucible lately rather than strikes or farming.

I was talking about the First Curse and implying the Chaperone which require crucible kills

And those are quests, which would be turned off. It would be too easy to boost.
