Check out the weekly update this week. Take a look at the end of the post.
Damn, DeeJ, back again with that attitude!!!
Seriously, is the fact that our questions go unanswered and ignored supposed to impress us? Is the fact that the community manager is an ass supposed to be funny? It's not. All it's done is solidify the point that the devs don't give a shit about the players, and want Destiny to appeal to the largest demographic in Call of Duty fans, while having the appearance at the surface that this is an intellectual game for smart people, which it clearly isn't. I'm done. I've got Dark Souls 3 in a few weeks and I can rest assured in the fact that there are developers out there who don't cop a snarky attitude every time their short comings are pointed out.
I know my words fall on deaf ears. I know you don't care. I don't care. Go -blam!- yourselves.

Deej and Bungie are clever among men. People complaining about lack of content Want info on updates for updates Make witty comeback and boom! Everyone talk aboot witty comeback! No more complaints about content and updates! All according to plan...
-
Best post I've seen in ages!
-
Destiny is losing its fan base in droves and Deej decides to troll and name shame. Spring update is so unfinished they can't even confirm or deny that we're finally getting the locked TTK exotics such as the warlock legs. Last one out turns off the lights.
-
DeeJ's attitude would be funny if Destiny wasn't in such a shitty place right now.
-
They act like like the community is in turmoil for no apparent reason....... Bungie need to ask themselves WHY they're getting so much flak at the moment. Deejs joke would have been much funnier if it wasn't the ONLY time he actually communicates with the fanbase beyond "more next week".

Edited by eeeen321: 3/12/2016 12:34:11 PMIt's unbelievable how disconnected they are. The list of wrongs is so long now. I'm still pissed I lost the relevance of year 1 and that this hole filled narrative has such large gaps between content. Now we have even larger gaps in content, super boring gear, a less satisfying leveling system, less information from our dismissive, complacent, entitled community management, and to top it off they are treating the community like we are the issue. Not them. Bungie treats the Destiny gamers like cigarette smokers are treated by the tobacco industry. The Destiny consumer is a temporary consumer, they will come and go. So the REAL goal is to attract new customers, without too much thought into the old, devoted, patient, loyal fans. The best deals and fresh content will always be given to the new blood. The worthless and boring shaders and banners will be handed out as hollow symbols of brand loyalty. Get the eff out of here with that. I've never had a game experience turn so rancid on me.

Alpha player that just quit caring. Deej is shockingly out of touch.
-
And we get to hear how the community is just so toxic. I just can't imagine why that has happened can you? Just remember this is the house that Bungie built.
-
Ahh, i remember when there was no internet, you had to wait with zero information about any game until it either came out or was sweeped away into forgotton hopes. Good times, simpler times. Bungie should not have started doing updates, its just made ppl too involved in their work, this community is like a heroin addicted monkey on their back and guess what? They are all out of heroin, if they had any at all.
-
I'm sick of deej and Luke smith. Seriously demeaning comments.

#TeamDarkSouls3 can't -blam!-ing wait
-
Beta and day 1 player here- and this "weekly update" did it. That was the last straw. Go -blam!- yourselves, Bungie. I'm done.
-
Whatchu mean "this week"? They stopped caring when TTK came out.
-
Why are you all so riled up? Lol I can only laugh. Year two has been worse then year 1 and the writing has been on the wall for a long time: Bungie most likely never intended to release any new content for year two at all. Look at that grind to 320. 5X longer then the grind to max in Vanilla, Dark Below, and HoW combined. If you don't get it by now, we were supposed to ride the Taken King allll the way to year 3 in September 2016. Yep every one was oh so pleased with the Taken King. A good expansion we all thought. We just didn't know it would be the ONLY expansion all year. We were also placated by the promise of "events". You know the ones that our overpriced dance moves were supposed to pay for? They turned out to be shitty Halloween masks with no light, the horrible sparrow two tracks racing league, and a bootleg version of trials of Osiris with drop rates so bad they just went ahead and gave everybody the top reward just for participating. Now it's obvious that Bungie has dropped the ball again and since Destiny 2, or whatever they had planned for September, has been pushed back to sometime in 2017. So they're scrambling to cobble together some garbage DLC to ride out the rest of this year. Who knows when it's going to be released though. Could be April. Could be June. Probably won't come out until September but who cares? I've moved on to The Division and having a hell of a good time. It's a hell of a lot more fun than sitting around praying that Deej might reveal some scrap of information about some content which he, and likely the rest of Bungie, have no clue as to when it's actually coming.

Edited by Commisar Corgi: 3/13/2016 1:38:52 AMIt seems even reddit is sick of bungie's shit, I don't even think they can save this -blam!-ing franchise anymore. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/4a11xs/this_week_at_bungie_03112016/ the comments are amazing.

If you've seen the ViDocs and still think the devs don't care, you're clinically insane. They're just silent about how much of a hard time they're having doing their jobs.
-
Idk man, I thought he dealt with that forum troll quite eloquently by responding to the forum post directly and by putting him on blast in the update. People act like that man doesn't have feelings and they want to come on here spewing all sorts of venom his way. I'm surprised it's not been a lot worse. I may not really care for his attitude towards revelation at this point, but I'm glad he's pushing back as much as his job will allow. #dontbeAdick
-
The Truth never played destiny yet he's on the forums defending the game
-
It has been obvious for some time. The problem is that there are still plenty of people who are so addicted to Destiny, and so enamoured with Bungie that they will defend each and every bad decision, for fear that what they have might be taken away.
-
As far as Im concerned everyone who works at bungie can go -blam!- themselves. Frankly I wish they would ban me and do me a big favor
-
Deej is just being a class act ass towards people now. People are itching for actual information, not a perpetual tease. One of the reasons destiny is stained for me is thanks to deej.
-
You know, and people might talk shit about Ubisoft, but THEIR Community Manager actually does more interaction with the forum posters than anyone we've seen here at Bungie.net. And yeah, I agree, Destiny is becoming just another slum for all the "Dude Bros" from COD.
-
It was obvious a long time ago, just more subtle.
-
FS entire development philosophy is to make you as misreble as possible while slogging through every corner of the game, and love it. Why is it that the community can dish out the most vile and offensive shit they can think of, and not even give it a second thought. But soon as deej or cozmo make one snarky reply, the community is outraged, OMG too far, so unprofessional... Grow up communtiy!

OP does deed with Duck and becomes Legend.
