I have a few ideas for destiny 2 and it's classes to spice up things. (Let's face it destiny NEEDS some spicing up right now) the three I have in mind are Warden, (destiny was going to have this)and Paladin.
The Wardens are a class of elite warlocks that are much more attuned to the light. Their first subclass is Void tyrant and it's super is that you have a void fusion it's where u have a void fusion rifle that has a extremely fast fire rate, almost no recoil, and one shots most everything in crucible, but u only have 5 shots and we'll..... it's a fusion rifle.... it's gonna take skill as is. It's next subclass is ritualer and it's super is that u take no damage but can't move or do damage. The upside is anyone (that's a friendly) near you (about 50 meters) regenerates their health extremely fast. I think they would be a lot of fun.
The paladin is a Titan general with years of experience on the battlefield. Their first subclass is shield bearer, and the super is a solar shield appears in front of you and you take no damage..... from the front half of u.... but u can move around and everyone behind a shield that's friendly gets an overshield. It's just a bubble that u and ur friends can move around in and take pretty much no damage but only from the front half for about a minute. The other subcass is swordsmen and it's super is the godless sword. It's an arc sword that oneshots everything in crucible, lasts 30 seconds, you take less damage, and here's the fun part, u can throw the sword up to 6 times. Like a buffed throwing knife. Wen u swing the sword u do 500 damage so u can one-shot everything right? Well if u throw it, you only do 300 damage in crucible. So u can one-shot almost everything.
I don't have any ideas for an advanced hunter so leave those ideas in the comments and I'll chose which ones best. Sorry I just couldn't think of anything for them.

The Offtopicer Memekekker- An arc subclass that wields GIF grenades, lenny faces, gimmicks, etc. to annoy enemies to death. Resistant to any and all reason. Floodrecon- A solar subclass loyal to the Halo franchise, utilizing Master Chief's skills and driven by the desire for the flaming recon helmet. Bleachdrinker- A void subclass specializing in offensive opinions and using bleach cocktails to gain defensive and evasive buffs to avoid other's views.
-
They need kinetic damage, launch metal at enemies, shotgun out of hand
-
Reminds me of KOTOR II, where to start out as a Jedi and then get a higher prestige rank upon hitting a certain level or stage.
-
Needs more elements. Warlocks already have void and such for example. Titans can harness Earth. Warlocks Ice. And Hunters get Water/Wind. A lot of possibilities can come of these I think.
-
Should make new elements, like earth or water and incorporate that! Otherwise good ideas!

Edited by Onyx Guard: 3/16/2016 3:24:58 AMMy glasses are fine though. Edit: Already posted this as a reply to the nice Jedi Guardian, but after thinking about it and reading some of other people's ideas, I feel this should be taken seriously.
You like elements? SO DO WE! Freeze enemies with an icy blast wave! Totally ruin some hippie's vegan friendly recycling day with solar blocking powers. Get enemies wet with whatever the heck water is in here for! Shock enemies into submission with electricity! Make EXPLOSIONS ON CONTACT with enemies with imulsion! Do things with spooky void powers. You thought the old titan hammers were bad? Just wait until you see me coming at you with a HAMMER OF DAW... no WITH A FLAMING FIRE EXTINGUISHER!
Can't forget the nerf shields though. We wouldn't want anyone getting hurt by bumping into something, now would we? And change the golden gun to make it golden, it looks bright orange. I can't rhythm anything orange.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 3/16/2016 3:38:30 AMI think there should be a true light and cryo element and associated subclasses Warlock could have frostcaster and archmage Frost casters super creates an ice slide (like iceman from xmen)enabling fast speeds but freezing everyone you come near for 3 seconds awarding orbs per chilled kill alternatively can use all super energy to create a stasis field around twice size titan bubble with same freezing effect. Archmage super creates a burst of divine light killing everything instantly in the local area (think FoH) and blinding anything else able to have direct line of sight for 5seconds Titans would have lancer and paladin Lancer forms a frozen lance that can lunge approx stormcaller melee for a 1hk with approx 4 charges or be thrown once and shatters into a larger cold freezing field dealing frost Dot and freezing all effected for 3 second. Paladin equips divine light shield and can move double speed all close allies also move at same rate and all have overshield and regenerate superenergy the shield can also be used as a shield bash wit large AoE infront of titan 1hk all in affected area Hunters get stasiswalker and savior Stasiswalker causes a large cryo stasis field around the hunter causing enemies to move at half pace for 3 seconds before becoming frozen for a further 3 seconds the hunter moves at double pace and can shatter all frozen enemies with one hit either melee or weapon. Savior dual rapid throwing daggers imued with light and seeking (think stormcaller) all enemies hit are blinded and take 1/4 full damage per dagger (daggers thrown approx 4 per second so 1 second per kill) super is time based and not kill/activation based.

Moth people
-
Titans will become SS and the super will be the spirit bomb.
-
Darkness supers. Need to be a thing. Also Glacial element. That would be awesome.
-
OP the super for warlock doesn't fot their lore. make it like a voidtrance like then you have a real warlock super
-
I like the idea of having a healer. Having a smoke style grenade that heals teammates in the area of affect would be cool. Maybe the ability to tether your teammates. While tethered they heal, and your still free to move and kill.

Edited by Mugiwaraboshi: 3/16/2016 2:40:53 AMAdnvanced hunter class Void - Roaming Super would work similar to Quiver on nightstalker. It would be a chain with a spear head that is thrown/shot whatever. You have 4-5 shots with it, you can use it to OHK a "Non-Supered" guardian and if the guardian is Supered and you directly hit him it suppresses that super not killing the guardian. Also doesnt have tethers so you can only supress one at a time. You could also, instead of using it to kill, you can use it as a mechanic to traverse the map. Shooting it at walls and what not will shoot you in that direction like a grapple hook which will give hunters that advantage in speed and agility like they are supposed to have. This would be great for pvp with its kill ability but can only cancel supers if directly hit, it doesnt slow or anything so you could just run or shoot back with no disadvantages other than hunter might have another chain. Or could be used to cross the map very quickly to get to a control point that is being taken or reviving teammates that are far away. Solar - Lever Action Rifle (chaperone style) Same as golden gun but you get 5 shots that dissappear at a reaching the furthest mid range possible. So you cant cross map people with it. It also does way more damage than GG so it one shots everything no matter what except for certain things that a titan and warlock could use to survive it. While in super throwing knifes are one hit kills and extends rifle duration for 5 seconds. Arc - Dual weilded arc blade. Kills with this super sends out a pulse that blinds nearby enemies. Arc blades can be thrown to lockdown an area like the effects of striker titans aftershock pulse but would last a bit longer. Can only be thrown twice since you only have 2. I know these supers sounds way similar but we're talking about guardians that have experience with thier subclasses. So i decided to make similar subclasses but converted to more experienced hunters if that makes sense. Kind of like altering your original powers to be better after having them for so long.

They should add some darkness inspired classes. Like how warlocks use light but instead they use darkness. Like they can add the ability to throw blinging balls (lol) like taken captains do, or maybe spawn in taken thralls like wizards. Or a soul drinkers subclass thats basically a sword that gets more and more powerful the more kills you get, but your defenses go wayy down. Maybe also the ability to take away lights from the opposite team and distribute it to your team. just a thought

Hunter classes Arc: Stormrider Similar to bladedancer but the super grants you increased armor and the ability to blink in any direction very rapidly, kinda like radiance but completely focused on insane movement. Solar: Dragonwrath Would summon a flaming dragon that coats your arm and allows you to launch 1 hit kill fireballs (low projectile speed) or a flamethrower with a perk Void: Truthseer Activating your super gives you complete vision of all enemies (similar to how they look after they've killed you) and slightly increased damage
-
With some tweaks those could be pretty damn awesome, nice job!
-
Ultra - advanced warlocks Subclasses - Thunder -super - Zeus's Edge- you become able to throw 6 to 7 Supercharged bolts of lightning that stick to the ground and attack/slow enemies in close proximity periodically Like titan lightning grenade ARC Flame - super - Hepheastus' Forge- you become a walking heat wave that damages and burns enemies caught in the radius SOLAR Darkness- super - Black Hole - you place tiny void bombs that detonate on proximity based detonation which releases improved vortex grenades Tell me what you guys think
-
No Paladin please. Anything but paladin. Warlocks are Paladins if anything. Stop saying paladin. Fuck paladins
-
The new Hunter: Wedgie Whacker. They go invisible and give everyone wedgies.
-
I'd be fine with them just reworking the existing classes.

Edited by Coochie Tablesaw: 3/11/2016 7:48:04 PMI was thinking something of a knight-based class but focused mainly on magic. A sort of Mage with titan-like abilities. Like a crossbreed between Ikora Rey and Zavalla. The class will be mainly focused on battle recovery and a little toughness and will be relatively slow. The first class is based on stealing light from Guardians and darkness alike. First Subclass: Void Grenade 1: Void Fragmentation (simple grenade that explodes medium void damage in a small blast radius. Explodes on timer.) Grenade 2: Nether Sycophant (Grenade that explodes on impact. Does little damage. Drains small amount of life for 2 seconds from enemies. Any life drained is refunded to you in an overshield.) Grenade 3: Blackhole Cluster: Grenade that explodes on impact and does little damage. Creates 6 grenade clusters that seek at a slow rate/ easy to shoot out of the air. Any damage done by the clusters is refunded in a stackable damage buff.) Jump: Titan like lift but called Boost instead and is essentially a very fast lift that's hard to control. Can be upgraded for either slower boost or easier to control boost or a boost that takes you higher. Boost does not go relatively high.) Special: Light Drinker (Knight punches ground like the titan striker class however drains life from everything in the vicinity and is refunded to life. May only be cast when the wielder is missing health. Lasts about 5 seconds.) Special upgrade 1: Ammunition Surplus (Any life drained from enemies is refunded into your special and primary ammo slots. Light Drinker lasts 1 extra second) Special upgrade 2: Void Concentration (Light Drinker can be cast at full health. Gains overshield and damage buffs from life drained if at full health.) Special upgrade 3: Blackhole Meditation (Light Drinker lasts 3 extra seconds and does extra damage at the cost of draining life.) Melee: Void Projectile (The Knight's melee is like the warlocks while it has range, but instead shoots a low damage low accuracy ball of void light at its enemies. Uncharged melee is the warlock's) Melee upgrade 1: Seeking missiles (Void Projectile seeks out its targets and has extended range.) Melee upgrade 2: Life syphon (Void Projectile drains life at a larger capacity, has lessened accuracy, and refunds your health) Melee upgrade 3: Void Bomb (Void Projectile explodes and getting kills with Void Projectile recharge your special faster.) Training of Anuity (Increases battle recovery) Training of Exile (Increases Speed and Toughness slightly) Training of Ascendance (Increases Toughness) Agitated Tactics (Grenades recharge your super. Super kills recharge your melee. Melee recharges your grenade) Ambush (creates stackable effect where Super recharges faster when more enemies are in proximity. Stacks 7 times. Your super is more effective with 4 or more enemies in proximity.) Overcharged (Creates stackable effect that activates after 3 or more enemies are damaged by your grenade that makes your melee more effective for the damage done. Effect stacks infinitely and lasts 15 seconds. Any kills with your melee make another stackable effect that makes your super more effective when activated. Lasts 10 seconds and is infinitely stacked.) Purposeful teaching (Increases battle recovery to its max and slight toughness for the cost of speed) Forbidden teaching (Increases maximum toughness and slight speed for battle recovery) Enlightened teaching (Increases maximum speed and slight battle recovery for toughness) Resurge: When your super is fully charged, you have your grenade and melee, you have a small chance to cast your super from the grave. Any damage done or drained will be put into an overshield upon spawning again. (overshield does not fade until destroyed) Void-Forged Armor: When your super is fully charged, you gain a defensive boost as long as both your melee and grenade are uncharged. Concentration: You gain an additional Grenade that may only be used with a fully charged melee. The lore for this unit: The Round Table has been a secret society of Guardians who have left the Vanguard for something... better. They all share one thing in common besides their races and appearances: They were simply Titans with a taste for the Warlock world. After disobediently undergoing Warlock teachings as a group, they were disbanded from the Vanguard for being ruled 'Insane' and 'practicing forbidden ways'. They have found a secret at the light that no one has yet discovered and are not to be discussed. The Vanguard has denied any information of their existence and assistance. Until now. Now that the threat of the Taken is lingering at the edge of our solar system, the Vanguard has called upon an unlikely ally... and they have accepted. Albeit Oryx has been slain, there is still a threat of the Taken greater than we can imagine... and we can't brave it alone. This is just an idea for a titan warlock cross over, and would work mainly in PvE with this subclass. The second one is on the way. It will be solar. Let me know what you think in terms of nerfing P.S. I tried to make every ability have its own drawbacks, like the last three where you have to accomplish certain feats to gain the abilities.
-
Hunter should be assassin. the sublclasses should have a long ranged super (sniper style) and a close range super (bladedancer style)
-
Yeah might be good, not new classes but subclasses. Add that you would have to earn it though not just get it like they did in the last dlc. It would make sense because they are a more elite subclass than the others. I wouldn't want to see the others subclasses become obsolete because of them though.

No, Just No
