I generally don't watch people play video games as a rule. But I kind of like Mr fruit reviews so I watch them from time to time on my lunch break.
This thread actually made me decide on watch my first twitch stream. I watch Broman play the division for about 20 Minutes to help me decide if I wanted to buy an Xbox one for the game... Decided I'm just going to wait some more.
Then I watch gothalion play for a few minutes before I realized I don't like watching video game streams.
But I gave it one more shot and watched a wishyouluckk stream and realized I would rather be working than watching someone else play a video game

Personally, I see a big difference in what Mr. Fruit does and what streamers do. Watching a streamer play a game is literally just that...unless perhaps their personality makes it more interesting or you like chatting with the other people watching. That's just not for me. Youtubers and content creators do something a little different. It's like Red vs Blue...you're not watching someone play a video game as much as you are watching someone's comedy sketch played out with a video game. Dream Team videos are hilarious in my opinion.

Right. That's exactly how I feel. I only watched Broman and gothalion because I recognized their names from a dream team video. I enjoy the dream team videos because they kind of remind me of how my clan plays "together". Watching an edited/narrated video is fun sometimes, but streaming just isn't for me. I did watch a trials stream this weekend though because I am not very good and was hoping to get some tips and strategies. Didn't learn anything except my weapons still suck
