I just do not get Twitch at all. Watching people play a game and giving them money?
It's like paying someone to eat the food you like in front of you?
Easily entertained

No its like paying to watch a movie, or pay for a TV subscription. Its a form of entertainment for gamers. Simple as that

I have done the raid with 3 streamers all free of charge.

I like being able to check out games that I'm thinking about buying. I also like to watch some of the top pvp players play trials, I've picked up a lot of tips from doing so. I work nights shifts and when it's slow, it's great being able to watch some of my favorite streamers to pass the time.

I prefer watching Kraftyy over Netflix nowadays. I get more laughs and entertainment out of it. I have over 250 hours watched and 0 dollars spent, I would love to support him with money because of how much he's gotten me through, but I can't. Twitch is a wonderful place.

A more accurate example would be paying for a ticket to watch athletes play a sport

The thought had occurred. Same concept different brand I guess.

Ok this is purely my opinion and based off of my personal experience. But first off I never give streamers money I mean seriously get a damn job, I have one, unless your a pro and have seriously proven yourself and climbed to the top then get off your lazy butt and go be a productive member of society. But secondly I like to watch twitch just for new release games if I want to buy it or wait until the price drops. For me it's more like watching a home shopping channel than watching food channel

I don't get it either. It's not the streamers fault though. It's all the idiot kids paying them. People make lots of money everyday off stupid people. Might as well milk it as long as possible.

It's like watching tv you pay for it

Kinda sounds like the food network....

You blew my mind.
