On Political Correctiness

Disclaimer: This is my opinion. I am not saying you have to agree with it but I may judge you for yours. You have been warned. If you are too lazy to read it all, just go to the In Conclusion part it sums everything up nicely with a tight little bow tie. Preface
It has become more apparent that in America (and the Internet) the problem of Politically Correct or not has gotten annoyingly out of control. Mainly due to pussies and douches, both of whom can't see the shade of grey. I am sharing my thoughts on it because I am trying to reason with people who only see extremes.
The Pussies
As Conservatives would call them, Liberals (because that isn't an overgeneralization at all.) These people are one side of a very annoying spectrum. They are the ones who make sure everything is some "emotionally safe bubble." It's not short, its vertically challenged, and that kind of crap. The most annoying part of these people is that they always call people who disagree with them bigots or racists when the majority of the time they themselves are bigots or racist. "All men are pigs" but if you say "Females are generally weaker physically than men" you are a sexist pig. It is for the most part annoying and hypocritical
Douches
As Liberals would call them, Conservatives (because that isn't an overgeneralization at all.) These people are the other side of that very annoying spectrum. These are the ones who say anything without any sort of social filter. They are usually even better at grouping people into unrelated categories than the previously mentioned group. "(Insert race/ ethnicity/ nationality/ etc. here are lazy". They feel like they have the right to say anything they want without any sort of social consequences. They for the most part are arrogant douches.
Modesty
As you provably assumed by now, I fall in between. That expression "Too much of a good thing is bad" applies well. People need social filters. Without it, you have everyone being is a jackass. You can't go around calling gay people "fa**ots" in public and not expect to piss people off. That being said people also need thicker skin. People are so insecure they think everything said to them is in some way an insult. There was a time when saying, "you look nice today" was considered a compliment and not responded with, "pig". People need to realize despite my best efforts, there will always be assholes in this world. They need to learn to ignore them. People are so preoccupied with avoiding offensive words to keep themselves and others "safe" when simply ignoring it would be a much better idea.
Police Brutality
This confounds me but makes a great example of the point I am trying to make. On the one side you have the people saying any black person involved in an unarmed shooting by a cop is completely innocent and all cops are racist because they are white and obviously all whites are racist. On the other side, you have people saying any black person involved in an unarmed shooting by a cop is instantly guilty and people just milk off of it to give blacks more rights than everyone else. I mean honestly, what the literal -blam!-? Cops are human. Some humans are racist. So it would make sense some cops are racist. That is a problem that should be attempted to be addressed. This, however, does not mean all cops are racist. I know many cops, all great people. How about next time a cop shoots some unarmed black kid, before instantly jumping to conclusions (which isn't helped by the media edging us along to do that) we actually wait and see actual evidence. Maybe if the cop posted in Facebook, "God I hate the n*ggers" and "I'm gonna shoot a d*rky today", well then I think that may just be intentional murder. If there is no evidence to prove the guy is racist or bigoted in any way, then you can't just assume he is because you want to. Every case is actually different and must be treated as such. (This being said any cop killing an innocent person or using police brutality id sad and should be delt with aptly.
Offensive
For my last point, I would like to pint out an annoying trend. The avoiding of the word "offensive" in any way possible like the word was diseased. People think (and rightfully so) if they say, "thats offensive" they will instantly be classified as thin skinned pussies. It pisses me off to no end. You have a right to be offended. If a person is a dick to you, you have every reason to be offended. Calling a movie or show or anything else offensive should be perfectly fine. Of course you shouldn't be offended if a comity makes some harmless joke about black people or some other minority, but you have every reason to say when you think it went too far. People hear that word and instantly assume you are some thin skinned pussy, and that may be the case. But that may also not be the case. The word shouldn't be treated like some diseased animal nobody wants just because it has some ridiculous connotation to it. Just my 50 cents though.
In Conclusion Moderation is key. Be a kind person and be respectful to others. Don't put others down just to put yourself higher up. Just don't be a dick. Also take things with a grain of salt. Don't instantly assume something someone said was an insult of some kind. Even if it was, ignore it. If you can't ignore it, you have every right to speak up and say they are being a dick. And remember, we are all humans. We are stuck on the same planet (for now) and the sooner we can get along, the better. Gringo Out.
