Halo 5 Arena Req Bundle: Is It Worth It?

So I am currently torn when faced with the decision to purchase this new req bundle that was released a few weeks back. However, does the temptation seem worth the price?
Situation: I am currently caught in a bind, balancing extracurricular activities with school and soon adding in a job into the mix (replacing extracurriculars). Thus leaving me little time to spend on Xbox, and pouring that which I do into [i]"Halo: Lottery Simulator 5"[/i] in order to grind out all common to rare cosmetics so I may actually get a decent set of armor.
Doing so would let me mentally take a breather and allow myself to fall behind in unlocking things in 343's monthly content drops.
Pros:
- Guaranteed Mk V Alpha set, which IMO looks better than 90% of the available armor
- 40 additional permanent unlocks (all cosmetic, no certifications
- Helps me eliminate my remaining rare unlocks
Cons:
- $25 that is of my own money (at this point in time) would be put towards this instead of other things, things that are far more worthy.
- The Mk V Alpha set [b]is[/b] unlockable without purchase, just by grinding and a stroke of luck.
- I'm spending additional money on an already purchased $60 game.
TL;DR: Life is busy and I'm not sure if I want to buy a microtransaction.

2 RepliesI bought it. The Mark V set is really nice. I though I may as well buy it since the DLC is all free. I enjoy the game and am willing to support 343. The cosmetics you unlock through the packs are mostly uncommons and rares, so you really aren't getting too much there. You do, however, get a ton of RP and XP boosts, which are always nice. Overall I would recommend it. I'm all for microtransactions if the main DLC is free.

Since its only for cosmetic stuff like armor, weapon skins, and emblems it sure takes some of the grind out. Right now I'm buying all silver packs to get rid of all the uncommon and rare stuff most of it is just emblems, armors and skins. You can if you want if you're trying to get ultra rare unlocks and above.

Well I bought it and have been getting 3 unlocks per pack so 6 cosmetic unlocks per week. I think it's pretty good tbh considering I'm mostly just missing rare or higher gear so I get ultra rare and legendary stuff from those packs. Just ask yourself if you like the game enough that you'll be playing for a while, if you are yea buy it.

Why look at it as a micro transaction? I'm co spidering buying the bundle of 7 golds or the req just to so my support of the pvp and all the DLC that's come and is to come in the future.

Don't buy it. If you grind it out it's far better to get the armor. You're gonna need the money

I bought it. I care more for cosmetics then weapons for warzone. Screw that MK C alpha helmet though. it looks awful.

If you buy the pack dont use it all. My bro-in law didnt use his Warozone pack he got with the limited edition. Well i did ASAP, so, last month he got all the cool new stuff from the update. Opened them all in front of me one by one... he lold and i lold but went home to my primitive stuff as i grind for what he unlocked. He doesn't play the game as much as i do, but at lvl 15 (i was lvl 60) got more than what i have in a few minutes. just sat there and realized i went full desticle by using mine and falling for obvious market schemes. I didnt have the self control to truly win. "huh whats this for?" ...to help you in warzone...you can use that automatic carbine to help win... "They have ultra banshees, oh duker ULTRA! Lolol" You son of a bitch i dont even have a banshee
