There was the sound of heavy foot falls, a figure, not human stood outside the cryo pod. It examined the pod and the person inside. It said something in a foreign language, the voice was proud and deep.

The figure pulled back its fist and punched into the glass breaking it. She could see now that it was a sangheili, an elite, it stood before her proud, but it did not seem hostile.

He lead her towards one of the dining facilities onboard the ship. He was almost too tall for the corridors. It was a little after 8pm by the ship's clock so not many were there, a few second shifters getting one final meal before sleep.
