An Average Fireteam takes on Trials of Osiris (Why do we keep doing this to ourselves?)
A Different kind of highlights video, we're a (very) average team of players who occasionally (somehow) manage to scrape 5 wins - but we have a lot of fun doing it.
TL:DW : A rant about matchmaking, lots of swearing, orb tickling and a big dollop of luck

4 RepliesMy trials experience is as follows: Get wrecked repeatedly on all 3 of my characters until I magically complete bounties in hopes of a doctrine of passing or exotic. Great success.

19 RepliesThere is very clear SBMM in Trials of Osiris. When I play with my 1950 and 2350 ELO clanmates I face very sweaty matches every other game. When I play with my 1250/1350 ELO clanmates the matches are a joke. Around Match 7 or 8 though, there may be a very sweaty match.

If I had known there were trials bounties that awarded guns/armor, I'd have been plowing around there all taken King long too. People I play with only occasionally win, but all it takes, if you buy the boons, is one win on each of two cards and you should be able to finish the bounties. I doubt I'll ever get to the lighthouse, but doctrine of passing is not out of reach with a little luck. Then I can be that guy that people hate in iron banner

Thank God I don't like 3v3 and never had, I stick to 6v6 and IB. The rewards are mediocre for trials anyway.

4 RepliesI wouldn't consider that average at all, you guys look pretty good from my perspective. I have never went to 5 wins. 2 I think was the most on a card which may have included the buffs I don't know. I have ran bounties about 6? times now. Best gold tier reward I have got was 302. It would be nice if bungie could attract more people into trials for a large list of reasons. A lot of the people I play with (destiny the game not just trials) don't like trials, hate it, never play it. I can see why. Either the match making is off or the player base is low enough it seems 90% of the matches are against highly skilled players. The skilled players win, have fun, and continue playing while the less skilled players start backing off after a while. Player base drops. I guess I am just saying it would be nice if bungie could attract more people to trials. I mean if I made a game I would want people playing it you know?

1 ReplyTrials is alot of fun tho, Yesterday I did it with friends on our ''worst'' characters. The goals where to get a 5 streak (for the chestpiece) and to complete the bounties. After we completed the five streak and completed matches was all we had to do we just made up challenges, like crouch only, hilts only and 1v3, and had more fun in destiny crucible then i've had in 2016. -blam!- KD, -blam!- winning, we all were between 300 and 305 and kept getting full clan 318 matchups with sweaty players with last words etc. Have fun ;)

If u check my kd and teams I play with we got a lower kd than 1, yet I've been to light house 14 or so times, some times it's good play that gets us there and sometimes it going up against worse teams, I play for fun and always enjoy it
