Who are you exactly lol
Someone who used to play Destiny a lot with a lot of people who used to play Destiny a lot as well.
Look at the crimson doubles report, over a million unique teams were created and played in the doubles event.
And how many quit after realizing it was just 2v2 Trials, but without the lighthouse and without the card? Over a million unique teams who played a couple of times (in theory) is not an impressive number. I'm more interested in the actual numbers of matches without suicide farming, than how many teams were formed and played once. Similar to how many registered users Destiny has versus how many active users they have. Registered counts people who quit months ago, and a million teams formed counts a unique team of two who played once. Granted, I played Doubles quite a bit, but that's because I needed to finish my doubles grimoire card.
I believe Bungie realized that they were losing traction with Doubles, and no one played it, so they handed out a 320 ghost to people who played 7 games. How many people do you think played 10 or more games after that announcement, or played 5 or more before it? How many of those were not suicide farming for a ghost? Without Bungie being candid about this data (when are they ever?), the world may never know.

... A year and a half after release and they had a million unique teams. Your stupid is showing.

Ttk was meant as a stand alone release and for me i was bored after a month, all the micro transaction promotional events were a farce.

I'm sorry but that hotline bling shit is comical. And TTK was an expansion. Destiny was a stand alone release.
... A year and a half after release and they had a million unique teams.
Again, how many times have they played? A million teams playing once is not a good number. Your lack of reading comprehension and trollish nature (losing/not understanding an argument, so defaulting to personal unwarranted/unfounded attacks) is showing.

Personal attacks? You're displaying how stupid you are. That's it. Tell me how having over a million players participate in an event a YEAR AND A HALF after release is a bad statistic. Please.
-
The division beta had over 6 million for 4 days
-
Check how many people bought Destiny on release or pre ordered and then compare it to how many pre ordered the Division and how many bought it on release.
Tell me how having over a million players participate in an event a YEAR AND A HALF after release is a bad statistic. Please.
I already did, twice. Third time's a charm: having a million users play once is a bad statistic. They all play, realize it's terrible, quit with a sense of no point to continue, and now their faith in Bungie is shaken further. That's a bad statistic. Now, call me stupid a third time. Destiny is repetitive and no longer creative (recycled content; Crimson Doubles is just a cross between Trials and Doubles), you like Destiny to the point of being a fanatic, so it makes since you're repetitive and unimaginative as well.

Fanatic is a stretch, I just enjoy Destiny. I've never obtained this much entertainment through a video game at this price. We all have opinions. You might enjoy that new hello kitty joint that released, personally I don't.
