They were comparing the betas. Seems like another hype train.
For what it's worth, comparing the 2 right now, I know I will like Destiny better.
The violence in the division does seem realistic. Coming from someone who's held down friends' bullet wounds, it's not a fun thing to witness.
The violence in destiny is more like a comic book. It's not very graphic at all.
I don't know if the division will be quite that graphic. I still pre ordered it. We will see.
The violence in the division does seem realistic.
How is emptying several magazines into an enemy before they die realistic?

It's an actual gunfight not just jumping around
It's an actual gunfight not just jumping around
Fair enough, as actual gunfights use cover and running (but not massive amounts of rolling/diving), but I feel that the bullet spongy humans kinda detract away from that. Don't get me wrong, Division is an RPG first, so it needs the bullet spongyness. I do think the overall situation is realistic, as well as the entire menu, switching weapons, etc is immersive enough so I feel more like I'm that person, especially compared to Destiny where everything feel clunky, especially character screens that load.

Yeah I understand what your saying but I think as the weapons get better it might get easier

I'm not going to clarify what I meant.
I'm not going to clarify what I meant.
I'll take that as code for "sorry, I realized the actual combat is not realistic at all, just the time, place, and situation."
