So, hear me out: over the past few months, Bungie has handled this game somehow worse than before. Now I adore Destiny but I believe the people behind the scenes are inept and corrupt. But let me propose this question to you:
What if Bungie WANTS Destiny to die?
What if Activision, with their greedy ways, and even some Bungie higher-ups have destroyed so much of the creative teams spirit and art, that they are done? They would rather watch this game burn than continue to massacre and disrespect something they once loved?
Ask yourself: hasn't matchmaking been worse? Little to no information on future events? It's almost like they intentionally want to alienate and ignore us.
Just my theory on the matter.
TL;DR Bungie had their dream ruined and would rather watch it burn then support the monstrosity it's become.

Edited by SweetZombieJesus: 3/5/2016 3:31:00 PMFor sure! No one wants a job in this booming wonderful economy with the current wave of super awesome economic power that is soon to be President Trumps tax plan! Jobs? So many. Recession? Ridiculous. Yes, let's forfeit our jobs so we can make a stance based on a delusional set of ideals that a community of immature gamers holds over us... Uh huh Oh and screw that expansion and sequal already planned and in development. Yes. Screw it! The lack of communication is an ideal held by a community of individuals who believe they are owed everything for nothing. That a few bucks gives us the right to be completely ridiculous, as we spew out cliché "fist raising" nonesense about the industry and consumerism blah blah blah. All the while, we sit on our asses anointing ourselves kings of the armchair activists. We are so willing to give an opinion we believe we're entitled to, but isn't needed at all... One thing is for certain. Bungie has moved on, so should we. .... Sorry, haven't had my coffee yet and those burritos are coming back to haunt me this morning... Please disregard my pseudo-intellectual rant.

I think it's all an experiment being run for all the publishers in general to assess how much crap people will put up with and still buy DLC and micro transactions.

They can't...money being the "Crux".

Destiny is dead. I ran over it with the car.

This theory has been around since week one.

Anything is possible I guess. What if Activision wants Destiny to sink so it can't compete with some future unreleased AAA title from Activision itself?
