The first version of Fall of Gemini had gotten a lot of criticism. Thank you all that did criticized my idea.
1) Gemini as the title- Gemini were twins, since these Hive are twins, it was fitting.
2) Raid mechanics stolen- I admit, the original maze was based off of the gorgons in Vault of Glass. The claim that I stole mechanics from King's Fall was slightly true. When I finally played the raid, I realized I had a similar mechanic to the Warpriest's oculus. In my defense, the original post was made in November 28, so King's Fall wasn't in full swing.
●Lore:
•Twin Hive once visited Earth long ago, during the time of Ancient Greece. Their powers gave them god-rank to the young humans, they believed their gods had come to live with them. The male Hive had a mind bending ability, tapping into one's fear. This was Phobos, which was later adapted into Fóvos by the Hive.
•The sister had no comparison. She behaved like no goddess known. The name given to her was Fire, she later changed it to Fotiá. She was more aggressive than her brother, the mischievous one. She torched those that crossed her. The humans realized that these were not their gods and tried to fight them off. The twins left Earth and returned to their ascendant realm, still using their adapted version of Greek.
•Fóvos and Fotiá tried to rule worlds as their predecessor Oryx did. For fear of becoming Taken and to not anger Oryx, Fóvos and Fotiá stayed in their ascendant realm, Kólasi. A world of Darkness and fire. For most of their life, they were contempt with their ascendant realm.
•Once they heard Oryx was killed, the Twins planned to finish what they started and rule Earth with many other planets. However, the Taken still loomed. With this in mind, Fóvos invaded the Dreadnought, a beacon to the Taken. After drawing their ascendant realm into the hull, the Twins waged war with the remaining Taken.
●Cutsene:
•The first cutsene shows Eris at the Tower. Her Hive rock has turned from green to orange. "It shrieks! It is in pain! It is burning! Something is wrong, something amongst the Hive stirs! Anger. Fear. Fire!... A new threat rises from the Dreadnought's ashes." Shouts Eris.
•The next cutsene will show your ship fly around Saturn. On the dark side of the planet is the Dreadnought which is in flames. (The Twins keeps it from burning up.) Eris speaks again. "Oryx, the Taken King, is dead. With Alak-Hul slain as well, there is no heir to the throne. Kingship is open... Open for the taking! I have seen the enemy. They must be stopped before the throne is theirs."
•The final cutsene before the mission starts shows your Guardian land in the Breach. He/she stomps out a small fire, close to your foot, then looks up to the rest of the area which is ablaze. "That will help..." says your ghost.
●Raid:
•Beachhead- Clear the Breach of Shattered Suns. (Knights that glow orange. Killing one of these will cause them to explode after a few seconds.) Taken and Shattered Suns are fighting across the area. Help the Taken ward off the enemy. Every four Shattered Sun is two points on the meter. Once the meter is at 100%, a structural weakness will break and fall, allowing passage to the Court of Oryx.
•Court Takeover- Your team will enter the room you spawn in in the King's Fall raid. Down the hall into the Court are two large knights fighting. One is Ur-Earok a Taken, the other is Dulag-Kul, a Shattered Sun. Taken minions are trying to kill Dolag-Kul, and if they succeed, Dolag-Kul will explode killing everyone. Your team needs to kill Taken as they spawn. One of your team needs to get Dolag-Kul's attention. Get him to swing at you with his sword. If he hits the ground without killing you, the ground will crack. Do this six times. After six times run to the hallway. The court arena and rupture will break off causing both knights to fall into the pit.
•Heart of Kólasi- Once Dolag-Kul is dead, knights will spawn around the pylon in the back of the room. (Used to power Dreadnought weapon.) They plan to use Kólasi's oversoul as a focused laser blast much like Oryx did. Kill all the knights in two minutes to stop the activation.
•Ascendant Sentinel- With the rupture (access to the Dreadnought bridge) gone, your team will run to the mausoleum. In front of this rupture is medium sized Shattered Sun knight. Alok-Ful will summon a fiery vestige at his feet. This will make him take no damage at all. Shoot Alok-Ful will void or arc weapons. This will push him off the vestige. His shields will drop, shoot him with anything. This will have to be done six times. After taking 2/6 of his health, normal sized Shattered Suns will attack you. After taking 5/6 of his health, the floor will catch fire. Get on top of anything. Once you kill Alok-Ful, he will fall to his knees. Run through the rupture before he explodes!
•Hell's Labyrinth- The rupture will send your team into a maze area. There are several twist and turns. The floor is slowly breaking apart, revealing a magma grave below. The longer your team spends in the maze, the larger and more frequent the cracks and gaps in the floor. If, at least, one of your team can't find the end in time, everyone will die and have to restart. Once someone finds the end, the rest of the team will be teleported. Here, there is another rupture to pass through.
•The Twins- The rupture will send you to the Dreadnought bridge (where you fight Oryx in King's Fall.) Several Shattered Suns are kneeling in front of two large fiery vestiges. Kill them. This will summon both Fóvos and Fotiá from the vestiges. Two groups of three Guardians will be teleported to different arenas. (Technically.)
If you are sent to a foggy area, this is supposed to be Fóvos playing with your mind. You can no longer see gamertags in this area. You and three of your team are running around. Several "Cursed Guardians" that resemble your team are running around as well. Your team must kill these Cursed Guardians to get Cursed Light. YOU will never see a Guardian that looks like you. (Ex. If you are a Defender titan in orange armor, you will see five Guardians, but never a guardian like you. Your teammates might. They will see five Guardians too, including a Defender titan in orange.)
The challenge is to kill all the "Cursed Guardians" without killing your teammates by accident. Killing one of your team will result in "BETRAYER" appearing on everyone's screen.
The other team of three Guardians will be sent to Kólasi, the ascendant realm that now fills the Dreadnought. Here, a Deathsinger and a cursed thrall are standing on a large plate. Shooting either will cause the Deathsinger to chant spells on the thrall. The thrall will grow into a large, horned ogre named Cerberus. Try to bring the ogre to half health. This will cause his horn to break off. Have your best aim pick it up.
Both teams will be teleported back to the Dreadnought. Choose which twin you want to kill first. Give the "Cursed Light" to your teammate with the horn. He/she will aim the horn to the preferred twin (one or the other. Can't attempt hurting both.) Hitting the Hive will bring it down to half health. Once again, the Twins will teleport your team to different locations. Repeat this cycle: kill Cerberus and get the other horn, and collect more "Cursed Light". Once both teams are teleported back, combine the relics and finish off the Hive you targeted first.
Once you kill one of the twins, the other will become enraged. Depending on which Hive you kill, the next stage of the raid will play out differently. Killing Fóvos will cause Fotiá to teleport your whole team to Kólasi and fight them with a flame sword and shield. Killing Fotiá, on the other hand, will cause Fóvos to teleport you to the foggy arena (your mind basically.) He will fight you similar to the shades of Oryx in King's Fall.
•Fotiá's Rage- If and when your team is sent to Kólasi, a flame vortex will appear. Fotiá will cast a spell, causing a flaming sword to form in her hand. As she flies around, she will shoot fire blasts and summon fire vestiges. Shoot Fotiá with arc and void damage to bring down her solar shields.
She will summon wizards to fight you. Kill them to "learn" how to cast a sword of fire. This is how you will combat Fotia. As she tries to get back up, hit her as much as you can. Repeat this cycle until she dies.
•Fóvos' Game- If and when you face Fóvos, the environment will become foggy. You will hear evil laughs from the border of the fog. Fóvos will swiftly attack from any direction. When he attacks, his sword will get caught in the ground. Shoot him with arc and solar damage. He will free his sword and run off. (A perfect run will take four rounds of this.) After his shields go down, he will run off and leave his sword.
Now, you will hear more frustrated shouts. More "Cursed Guardians" will start to attack you. Kill them, but make sure not to kill your teammates. They will be coming from all directions, so watch each other's back. When someone has collected the "Cursed Light", shoot it at Fóvos when he returns. When it hits him, he will fall to his knees, holding his head in agony. Take his sword and attack him. Repeat this cycle until he dies.

This raid concept is based on a future enemy for my fan fiction, Strength of the Pack.

I like it. I'd like it a lot more If it wasn't a hive raid.
-
No more give!
-
Way to go. Very imaginative and worth a look at. I would suggest some smaller challenges in between the boss fights. Give the guardians a small breather before going into the next big technical challenge. Keep it up...we may be playing a game you created one of these days!
-
We don't need more give stuff... Or if we must it's gonna be Nokris not some made up crap
