THE DIVISION CHUCKING SOME SERIOUS SHADE AT DESTINY???
BUNGO!!!
HOW DO YOU RESPOND?!?!?!
I honestly feel like the division is the best thing that could happen to destiny. it needs utterly stomps Destiny and Hopefully that'll kick Bungos ass into high gear
So technically I'm still right.
This is division taking a jab at destiny, using GAMEZONE quote.
You guys need to flex those neurons

Not defending destiny but the division beta sucked balls.. so will the full game. Lol
-
Division is worse than destiny with that dark zone shit.
-
So I'm reading this IS NOT one of those childish "division is gonna kill Destiny" posts but instead ur saying that it'll push Bungie to breathe some life into Destiny. I hope that's how things turn out but I still take the stance that the division will not meet any expectation set.

Edited by Ryu Knight98: 3/5/2016 9:09:25 PMI'm getting BF4 deja vu. Anyone remember this on the back cover of Battlefield 4? "Frostbite 3 and Battlefield 4 put Call of Duty: Ghosts to shame." -IGN This game at the time blown me away! ...with "Battlefield 4 has stopped working" over and over again.
-
Didn't play the beta but am excited for division. But lol let them fire shots who cares, bungie has had a number of very successful titles, I can't name a single Tom Clancy game that was in everyone's game collection. But no I am a huge fan of Tom Clancy games, been playing them since GameCube and ps2 were relevant but my point stands Tom Clancy games just really haven't ever taken off like cod or halo or destiny so them firing shots at chances are another good game that doesn't grew as big as other games is kind of a bitch move, like the small dog pissing off the gentle giant sleeping in the grass.
-
Ubisoft can quote whatever they want Played both betas and was thoroughly disappointed
-
Unfortunately they're going the same route as bungie and not letting any game critics rate it til servers go live. I'm going to buy it but I'm extremely hesitant about it due to bungie's handling of destiny.
-
Lol the Gamezone quote was taken entirely out of context, so much so in fact that the slight controversy had them coming out as saying they're going to ask specifically how their quotes will be used in the future as opposed to giving anyone in pr free reign over it. "The Division blows Destiny out of the water with 6.4 million beta players" http://kotaku.com/the-divisions-new-anti-destiny-advertisement-is-incredi-1762884622
-
Bungie doesn't care there focus is the next microtransaction
-
They were talking about the betas, they said Divisions beta blew Destiny's beta out of the water because it had about two million more beta testers. They also used a quote from ign at e3 last year on their. With that being said I hope this game does at least take a chunk out of bungie so they stop acting like they have no competition.
-
The division wouldn't exist if destiny didn't because they stole plenty of the ideas from it
-
I'm not gonna buy division, probably ever,
-
I must believe it, this gloriously well designed poster must be telling the truth.
i played it, didn't like it
-
Its amazing how still a lot of people don't understand the post, Ubisoft deliberately used the quote out of context to have a dig at Destiny.
-
I play destiny for the ease of gameplay. Frankly their halo games were what pulled me in and Destiny is fresher with more movement options. The gameplay itself just feels fluid because it is an FPS. The division is third person and the setting just isn't as interesting as destiny's. Am I saying that Destiny beats out the Divison in game mechanics like RNG and other reward systems? Hell no. Destiny's reward system is sub par at best.
-
Hm, let's see. The Division: 1. No space magic 2. No jumping 3. No cool looking sci-fi weapons 4. No killing an evil time controlling god 5. No killing an evil soul of a space knight god in another realm 6. No killing the evil space knight's dad in another realm 7. No supers 8. Played the beta and it was BAF
all but #8 are fact, I don't like the division, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it ;)
-
I got 5 pairs of boots this week. Good thing is it made me keep my division preorder
-
So they used a edited quote. The quote was about the beta having 6 million players which beat Destiny's 4. Not about game quality.
-
Oh shit!!!
-
Except the quote was blatantly taken out of context... Way to go Ubisoft.
-
Lololol Division won't last past it's year road map. Destiny has already lasted a year and a half and it still is full of players. It kinda just shows how garbage the Division will be as they have to compare themselves to Bungies Destiny.

Edited by Sanguine_01: 3/5/2016 4:21:44 PMThe Division does not seem like it will have something for everyone and it looks like the longevity of it will be based on the PVP zones where you fight other players for top gear loot. So for anyone that is a big PVE player this will die down in a few months, same as Destiny did perhaps sooner really. If you are a pvp player you may be happy with that but it also depends on your preferred game style since the Division seems to only be from a 3rd person perspective and most shooters aren't. Destiny isn't losing anyone because they know everyone jumping on the Division is just bidding time until Destiny releases its next DLC and everyone will come right back like good little sheep. Personally If they don't change up their format to make the game have longevity in terms of activities, I will get the dlc's like I did with Taken King, a few months AFTER release day. Since there is no way to bring forward old gear, and new gear eventually becomes obsolete, there's absolutely no incentive to buy any future DLC on day one! At the very least this will give Bungie a clear indicator that I am fed up with the direction of this game which is the only way they will change their tune. If you don't buy it, they wont abuse their power, its that simple. Even if you enjoy the game like I do, buying it a few months after release will send a clear message that change is necessary.
-
*2 months later* "The division? What's that?"
-
So far I'm still unsure about The Division. I hope it's great though. ps. Typical quote from a magazine taken without the context it was written with.

SHOTS FIRED but misleading

Sniped.
