Been playing inferno 3v3 and it's a lot of fun. I stand by the fact that Trials needs radar off. The people that say it would encourage camping are the ones that would camp. Personally I wouldn't, no radar means you'd get snuck up on if your gonna go ladyboy style and camp.
No radar on Trials=an actual hardcore game mode.
Hopefully this change is made and we can see what happens to y'all who camp spawn hardscoping when you gotta watch your 6.

I like Inferno Elimination. Trials would be very interesting like this.
-
I agree Bungo should nerf fusion rifles
-
If you guys want us to de scope when hit then take out our sniper glare so you don't know when we are sniping
-
If u want descope go play battlefield destiny isn't competitive
-
Lol no. And they never will. No radar in destiny isn't like other games. It means camping hunters with shotguns will be the best class. All the maps are too closed in and it would just be chaos. No radar would kill the competitive feel for the game. What's left of it anyways.
-
Sounds like you need to shotgun or bust
-
How about: radar stays active, but you can only use primary weapons. No special, no heavy.
-
Litterally worst idea. spray and pray from auto would be game braking.
-
Damn swza Back at it again with the salt
-
I agree no radar
-
So you want everyone to just use invective because literally all players would do is hide behind corners till then just shotgunned you to death. All the inferno modes are trash because they are all just shotgun matches and i hate players who can only blink shotgun.

Edited by Georgahh: 3/6/2016 2:05:45 AMYeah so you can have a shotgunner around every corner and not know. No radar.. Real smart. And the Oscar for dumbass of the year goes to!
The Swza!!!
Congrats!

Inferno 3v3 is great, had me on my toes the whole game especially elimination. I think TOO should have no radar as well.
-
It would be easy to dissuade camping. Simply make a debuff that slows your movement speed the longer you stay in an area past a certain time limit. Or change trials from slayer to a randomly moving king of the hill. That being said, I'm sure Bungie would duck it up somehow, "hey guys, we decided trials matchmaking wasn't quite where we wanted it, so instead we made it so that the algorithm takes into account the physical distance from your actual console to the real life planet the map takes place on. Naturally this distance is divided by 7 in order to assign you to a competition bracket in order to improve the competitiveness of your matches as well as your connectivity to actual aliens."
-
Trust and believe that it would work against you.
-
People would camp even more with their groups so they don't get snuck up on
-
Why? I personally hate trials, mostly because the community that keep it alive in general aren't very kind to those who don't play trials like it's all destiny has to offer, same goes to raiders. It isn't the playlist that's the issue, is those that made the game that are the problem but both communities make things far far worse. (Trying not to say only trials people can be assholes) the meta needs fixing but bungie doesn't fix it, bungies fault, not the players that use what's the best gun. Using the best gun isn't a bad thing, remember in halo 3 when you walked past a rocket launcher or a sniper? Few would pass them up and if they did it would be a hard choice. Those guns were very strong which was fine and if everyone could use it at once in big team battle most people would, just like destiny, the strongest guns are what you'll find people using in competitive playlists. My stand point on this issue so rip me a new asshole if you want, really don't care

Edited by TheQuietOne91: 3/6/2016 7:12:16 PMIndeed they do need to take off the radar on trials and also aim assist. With no radar it would make it more difficult for snipers. Inferno is an awesome game play. Also no radar would open up different starts.
-
Inferno elimination is really fun, whenever trials comes along it'll be a camp fest. As long as they bring new maps the size of the anomaly, it'll fit well.
-
I think de-scope need to occur based on a perk. Buff high caliber rounds to descope snipers rather than nerfing them. I think we need to move away from Nerfs and move to providing more counters give more variety.
-
I do not use snipers, but if any scout with high caliber rounds hits a critical on them they should de-scope. You would see a lot less of them. A high impact scout would wreck them. Just as it should be.

Edited by Mike a Man Dime: 3/5/2016 9:31:59 PMRadar is a waste first of all they are inaccurate and second what fun is the game if u know where you opponent is at all times it would be a better communication game if there wasn't radars always active but what do we as gamers know we only play it hours and hours a day
-
http://youtu.be/QW-W6caZq_k Trials gameplay Doctrine. I 100% agree with this no radar no heavy, trials would be so much more competitive and make you work more as a team
-
I like the descoping snipers when they're hit
-
Need 2 for trials be 310+ and flawless add ^^^ PS3
