Oryx is immortal (only can be killed in throne space)(only can be killed by a fount of light) and a God, even the Halo rings couldn't do much. Or Atheon would just delete the entire Halo Universe from time. Sorry Spartans, still love you

Edited by High Charity: 3/5/2016 7:36:35 PMOryx is dead If by Atheon, you mean Gorgons, then sure. But only if they're in the Vault of Glass.
-
Lol Atheon can't do that. What drugs are you on? If he could he would have done it to delete The City or would have deleted the Guardians inside the Vault of Glass. The only ones that can do that are the Gorgons and their powers only work inside the Vault of Glass.
-
Edited by Ciudecca: 3/5/2016 7:11:51 PMHe can only delete stuff inside the Vault
-
Yeah but we, inside the vault, had the Relic
-
Atheon can't delete things, only the Gorgons can and then again only inside the Vault. What's forcing anyone to go into the Vault to fight them? Seal it off, transport it to some other dimension or into a blackhole, the Precursors could easily win this. They're not bound to a certain area for their powers to at their strongest.
-
Stfu the halo rings destroy everything
-
Precursors. Creators of light.
-
Your spouting a lot of claims with no proof.
-
All that is said in game
-
Then he should provide it because I will not do his research.
-
Fair enough
-
What do you mean? No proof? Play the -blam!-ing game if you want proof
-
What do you mean? No proof? Play the -blam!-ing game if you want proof
Game doesn't explain shit about the vault.
-
I did play it an alL I got was dincklebot wanting me to protect him as he opend a door. Master Chief would just spartan charge through it.

Edited by Lil Cobravert: 3/4/2016 1:58:09 AMUmm, correction the Halo rings were mean't to cleanse the Flood across millions of light years. Oryx doesn't classify as a Flood.
-
Edited by bFLY: 3/6/2016 2:21:56 AMCorrection, the Rings were meant to kill all sentient life thus starving the flood by denying them any hosts to infect. Oryx is classified as sentient life.
-
But oryx is a God and can travel to and from a type of spirit world
-
Ok, then what about Tolan the Shattered saying the Hive were immortal? From the mission where you're trapped in the pit, running from the Ogre?
-
All sentient life forums
-
Right sorry, I had it backwards. It kills their food, not the Flood itself. My bad.
-
That was retconed, the Halos kill both.
-
retconed?
-
When you change established canon.
-
But nothing was changed. The Halo rings were always meant to destroy the Floods food. Not the Flood itself.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 3/5/2016 7:51:13 PMThat was altered in the Forerunner novels where they killed flood.
