What do you mean that's not the point?

Edited by Unforgiven: 3/3/2016 3:34:16 AMthe photo is a comparison of cultures... girl Twitter/Facebook/Hashtag/Instagram/Bimbo Culture vs Man/Soldier/Past/WW2 Culture/ How real men had it rough and still did the things they were asked. Protecting our country or other countries. Going to war. Dying young. A man that hardly just out of highschool - hit his puberty is now given a gun to go to war. That is scary. While these bimbos sit and hashtag on instagram. Those are two distinct cultures that existed. And if you don't understand the difference, then its your loss. Women want equality. Grab a rifle and live through a war, then talk. My grandfather had to do those things. Those things are for men only. Right?

Edited by SigilG362: 3/3/2016 3:34:58 AMOh yeah, I think that's BS too, specially since 90%+ are all Military-related, instead of civil services like Paramedics, Cops, Firefighters, and the like. Those would certainly be more relatable. Still, that's not really the point, either. Point is the fact that these white girls are taking these things for granted and romanticizing them.

Edited by Unforgiven: 3/3/2016 3:42:27 AMThe girls will always post those things thinking they are meaningful, which they are to them. They will never experience any of those the same way that men did in a war. Those are two distinct cultures. Neither will ever overlap. You are close but you are still missing it. Look at it again Paramedics and cops and the like .. Thats heroism but its more voluntary. Thats just experiencing effects of something like 9/11. But thats nothing compared to WW2 imagery. Where you had to hold your best friend's guts in from shrpnel. Where you had to hold their hand and tell them everything will be ok knowing they were dead already. As bullets were wizing by and you knew you might be the next to go. Pulling your friend out from under gun fire. Yes firefighters go into burning buildings, but they do it with special suit knowing that they are backed up by trained indviduals. nothing compared to storming the beach in D-Day where 100 thousand soldiers fell. You are comparing apples to oranges.
