All you have to is walk backwards or stand next to a wall or be a warlock with melee over shield or a Titan and activate a super or snipe or shotgun or a lot of time, just stand there.
It is useless. I use mine just to make people run. I gave up on killing with it long ago.

Yeah it's very easy to kill a blade dancer. I use mine as a distraction while my teammates push with me and shoot.
