Let me just say that you are a very handsome guy & I don't mean that in a creepy or thirsty way. Also I wish I could have your life because it sounds like you've had a way now exciting life than I. Does it feel weird changing from being in a submarine to being back on land? Did time in the slammer change you? xD

Haha thank you. The only thing I see in that picture is my hat squishing my ear. Like that looks so uncomfortable, how do I not feel it?! Anyway. Lol, like the month after I got bailed out of jail my friends were all saying "dude, prison changed you!!" Haha. But all that happened was I realized i never wanted to go back. I do want to find my mug shot though. I even paid a month subscription to a website that said they had all mugshots. Still couldn't find mine :(. Yeah getting off a submarine for the first time after a long deployment was weird! The biggest thing is it's hard to sleep the first few nights because there so much more oxygen then we are used to. When we go on an extended patrol, we lower the oxygen level to reduce the risk of fire, and lower the chance of any germs/bacteria growing! They tell me there's no long term effect on your body after running around at 16-17% oxygen for months. Meh. And seeing girls again after months of only dudes is a fantastic change. Glad I never have to do it again though, lol.

Wow. I had no idea that they reduce the oxygen. That's near the point where you pass out.
-
Lol yeah, it's supposed to alarm at 15.5 I think. It's been a couple years since I've been on sub so I don't remember exactly
-
That can't be healthy. I'd be interested in knowing the health effects that has on the career guys

Lol omg, I didn't even notice that till you just pointed it out! That really dies look painful though. If you find this mugshot, you need to show me! I didn't even know they took mugshots for minor offense like that lol. Honestly messed up sleep was not something I expected to get messed up when coming back home. So you ever miss being in the navy or are you happy you're done?? Haha are you sure you don't miss being around all those grumpy guys? ;D And I how that doesn't affect you later on, you'd think going that long, with that amount of oxygen would have some affect.

Edited by Pro: 3/2/2016 4:11:20 AMDude if I were able to find my mugshot it would be my profile picture on all my social media accounts!! Haha I don't miss the Navy. I had some good times, I have crazy stories and i made some money... But I worked A TON and I spent 3 Christmas and New Years underwater. I had to work weekends all the time. It's nice to work a cushy 9-5 job, getting weekends and holidays off.
