[b]CHAPTER 1: Awakening[/b] I heard a voice calling to me. “Eyes up Guardian, we need you now!” I slowly opened my eyes to see a strange looking drone object in front of me. The object disappeared suddenly, like it was a hologram. A booming voice came from behind me. “There is our new asset.” It was a large four-armed being with glowing blue eyes. Another one, shorter this time, walked up to it. The small one spoke first. “Riksis, what should we do with him?” “We will use him to get into the Tower.” “What if it doesn’t work-“ “It will work Rahn! He does not know anything!” I got up and looked at the creatures, they wore long capes. I looked at myself, I was wearing tattered robes. “Hello?” “Yes?” I looked at the being speaking to me. “You will get into the city.” Riksis pointed to the walls and the giant white orb above it. “You will infiltrate it and tell us where an entrance is.” “Oh… ok?” “Good… now go! There is an Orbit Jumper waiting for you!” I got into the ship and flew to the City. There were other ships guiding me to a large tower. I dropped off there and saw so many people. They looked… similar to me. Now that I think about it, the White Orb looks familiar. A word appeared in my head, Traveler. Is that what the Orb is called? My thoughts were interrupted by a voice. “Hi! Are you new here?” I looked at the being in front of me. She took off her helmet and smiled. “Hi, my name is Maya. What is yours?” “Uhhh…” I looked at my robes, a small piece of armor said “Promethean” on it. I figured it sounded good enough. “My name is Promethean.” “Interesting name for a Human, I figured a name like that would go for an Exo.” “What is an Exo?” “You don’t know? I guess you are new here. I will teach you all you need to know. Follow me!” She and I walked around the Tower, and I wondered. I feel like I am forgetting something.
