I've seen many Christians now trying to reconcile their faith with modern science, namely the theory of evolution, which I think is great. I encourage the belief in evolution. However, they need to understand that the belief in evolution and their metaphorical interpretation of Genesis cannot coexist.
In case you were unaware, their metaphorical belief consists of them believing that the 6 days of creation were actually metaphors for millions or billions of years. However, this is impossible, as in the Bible, it is clearly stated that God created plants first, then the sun.
How could plants survive for millions/billions of years without a sun, or a source of energy? It's impossible.
You either fully accept evolution and deny the account of creation, or you don't. There's no middle ground anymore.
Purse, out.

I think the world came about when an almighty being jizzed on the universes' vajajay

Now I'm confused because you hate religion and yet you're stating things that support it. NoiselessPurse7 is Christian confirmed.

I am Genisis AND Evolution
-
This is purely my opinion and cannot be validated but... religious behavior is to use "god of the gaps" to answer the unanswered, however as the scientific community closes in on these unanswered questions the religious community sway more towards science with words such as "misinterpreted" and/or "translation". That's just my opinion though.

Playing devils advocate here: The second thing he created was light. The third thing he created was a day/night cycle. You could say the sun it just a concentration of the light he created on the first day.
-
But you can believe in JewsLMAO WILDIN.

Christianity is based on everlasting life, forever, no time, maybe the interpretation of timescale is off due to the lack of understanding of time on such a grande scale. Nothing happened in an instance, everything happened by design.

Your purse must be loaded with tampons

Wasn't there a part where God said "Let there be light?" This, I think, means the Big Bang. Meaning that stars would have already started to form. Meaning the Sun came before the Earth. Or something. Idk. I ain't religious. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think Young Earth creationism is kind of a minority among Christians. Agreed though. They can't coexist.

Solution: Nuke everyone.

You're back... Hmmm...

What about Jews?

It's also pretty clearly stated that God created light first, and that the earth was originally formless.
