Very nice post. Just about everything is in there, with the exception of Elemental Primaries. I know they cause controversy, so don't add it. I'll make my case here.
The lack of Elemental Primaries has made King's Fall the most boring raid in the history of the game (PoE gets included as a "raid" for this argument). The other raids had a weapon type (elemental primary) that you could not get anywhere else beside the raid. It basically gave you PVE super powers. People wanted to do the raids to get these amazing weapons.
Enter TTK, and King's Fall. Elemental Primaries are taken out by the Destroyer of Destinys, Luke Smith. This has caused King's Fall to be amazingly boring, not because the raid itself is bad, but because the rewards are shockingly bad. There are no halfway decent primary weapons on the raid loot table. This makes King's Fall feel less epic than other raids. A less epic raid causes the entire DLC to feel less epic, less good, and angers the player base.
Forbes and other websites ran stories about the removal of elemental primaries. They always made it clear that it was a mistake, with few exceptions. We, and they were ignored by the Destroyer of Destinys.
I know that many will say, "but everyone will just use Fatebringer". Shut it. It was popular because it was good. Good is a good thing, not a bad thing. But, here is how you silence this incorrect fear. Elemental Infusion. Any primary with any burn. You just got a brand new VoC, but you already have 3? Infuse it into your Imago Loop. Now you have a Solar Imago Loop! Simple.
So now you have your variety of weapons being used, and you have elemental primaries. And it was easy.
