6÷2(1+2). Okay, so you add 2+1 first so that's 3. Then, it's 3×2 so it's 6. 6÷6=1. Oh shit, sorry, I just realized × or ÷ can go either way. Though it was always × first.

Yeah you multiply and divide in order left to right. So parentheses first 6/2(1+2)=6/2(3), no exponents so multiply/divide left to right, 6/2=3, this leaves 3(3)=9.
