Parenthesis then [i][u]multiplication and division [b]from left to right[/b][/u][/i] then [i][u]addition and subtraction [b]from left to right[/b][/u][/i]. Pay more attention in school mate.

It is merely a matter of convention (not a matter of right or wrong), giving us a standardized way to decide whether 6/2*3 is (6/2)*3 or 6/(2*3). (6/2)*2(1+2)=X Is [b][i][u]A DIFFERENT EQUATION[/u][/i][/b] than 6/2x2(1+2)=X Changing the equation [b][i][u]WILL[/u][/i][/b] change your answer

And no there is never only one way to solve a math equation Using 9 as the solution is incorrect Implied multiplication [b][i][u]TAKES PRECEDENT[/u][/i][/b] over displayed multiplication Hence why its called implied multiplication (multiplying into parenthesis N(x) comes before n*x )

I can see you failed math. When the problem gets to 6/2(3) the order goes from left to right, it doesn't matter if it's multiplication or division, it goes from left to right. Perhaps you need to take an 8th grade math course again?
