I know but he does the multiplication first. The parenthesis don't exist once the problem inside is solved

See the way i was told was always do the multiplication first. And the parenthesis act as a multiplication even after you did whatever was in there That's why i did the 2×3 to get six then ÷ 6 by the new 6. Math was never my strongest point honestly so maybe i do have it wrong.
