First thing I would do.... Probably go slightly rogue and call the vanguard & consensus out on its bullcrap. I mean Ikora Rays Hidden had known about Oryx's arrival so much so the queen and Eris planned ahead for it. Also the speaker is effin useless and I think it's about time to call him out too. I am a guardian and have just as much claim if not more claim to the roll of Speaker, as I'm the one who goes out into the darkness to fight for the Traveller, learn the darkness weaknesses & secrets. Risking my life & Light for the city yet the speaker claims to rule. I'd rather align myself with the cult of the Trinary star or the disciples of Osiris than continue the charades of the consensus & vanguard treating guardians like slave soldiers making them fight without ever telling them why.... I'd be the guardian to shake things up at the tower and challenge the authority of the vanguard's and push until my clan is recognized as a Faction and has a representative speaking for our cause in the tower. Then if the speaker & vanguard rejected my ideas in total. Then I'd compete in the Trials earn my way to the Lighthouse again and go threw as many vex time gates as i needed to, to find Osiris and as him the questions the speakers to afraid to answer. The short answer is I'd be a good Hunter and go hunting for the truth. [spoiler]a character like me in the story would certainly live things up. Make the story more interesting.[/spoiler]
