Well guardians, karma finally caught up to me. I've helped countless guardians complete raids, raid checkpoints, strikes, black spindles, story missions etc. if it's pve I've probably helped someone complete it. I've been loyal to this game for well over a year now and I've always been down to help people do what they need to do. Well it finally paid off. This weekend I finally went flawless!!! Twice!!!! The destiny gods smiled on me and handed me two different Sherpas to help me to the lighthouse on two different occasions. One of the guys ended up being #59 in the world. In both cases, the Sherpas were very cool and relaxed. They didn't care how much I sucked at pvp. They just wanted to help someone get there for the first time. And trust me, they put in some serious work lol. So basically this post is to show that the toxicity of these forums do not reflect all guardians. There are still lots of cool people out there willing to help. You just have to be willing to ask for it, and be humble about your experience. These guys never asked for anything in return and neither do I when I help. Thanks to all the good guardians out there willing to help others get what they want. Also YAY!!!! I got to the lighthouse after almost 3,000 hours in this game!! WHOOOO!!!!
I should also mention we had an awesome strategy. We knew I was going to die anyway so I would run out in the open to draw their fire and the other guys would get the kills. We called it "operation meat shield" and it worked like a charm. When I died I was able to call out their positions and our guys would move in for the kill.
I should also mention that for our 7-0 match we played the #1 ranked ELO trials player in the world. He and one other were doing a carry. I had two guys carrying me. We absolutely stomped them. My guys were on fire!!! I went back and watched the #1 guys stream to see what he was saying. Apparently he was saying that I wasn't me, someone else was playing on my account because I was just too good for my stats lol. It was the only match I went positive in out of the 9 wins lol. It was probably the highlight of my pvp experience on destiny. Here's a big shoutout to all the Sherpas out there willing to help out us scrubs. Also the #1 guy won his next match so his carry got flawless too.

Congrats. I've helped a heap of people with pve too, going to dip my toes into ToO in the next couple of weeks. No carries for now, if I don't make progress in the next couple of months I may go looking though
