by someone who has made 4 posts with 1k+ replies and thinks he's cool
make a thread about something relevant like a new game, politics or anything that people are familar with.
reply to all replies. If someone says thank you you say no problem, if someone bumps your post you say thanks to them. If you reply to all posts you have double replies.
know when to reply. The featured system work in a way that the thread with the most recent activity gets featured first. If you reply to a reply on your thread you've bumped it up back to the top.
feed the trolls. Yes you heard me. Someone says that you should kill yourself? Dont mute him, be calm and start a discussion for free bumps. In my fallout thread i have about 50 comments from trolls that all just made my post bigger. If you think they've gone to far just say something like "thanks for the free bumps" and they'll understand that they are actually helping you instead of hurting your feelings.
never actually self bump your thread. If you really have to then dont weite "bump" or "shameless self bump" write something related to the thread and try to make it seem that you just commented instead if having people seeing your unproffecialism.
tags. Tag your posts to get more attention. Only use relevant tags like #question, #lore, #fallout and more. Dont use false tags to gain attention its just as bad as self bumping and hated by ninjas and mentors.
never write "edit17" or things like that. It just gets hard to read. Instead make the edit a part of the original post.
never rage at someone on your thread. Show the rest of the readers that you're the mature ine. If its to hard to keep calm exit b.net and do something else for a while
