I think nearly every class could've specialized for that, if they really wanted to. Besides, the sticky is only one shot if you're actually stuck (with the possible exception of magnetic, but that actually has an excuse). Fire bolt actually keeps out of the fight for 14 seconds, assuming you're not a warlock, with full armor, and recovery.
